lmao tax season was always mad stressful growing up cause my step dad is a CPA. I actually think having the IRS in a handle sounds hilarious though might need to consider that next time.

I usually pick tax-evasion for a username but it wasn’t available on here so I just broke it into two different usernames with new flavor. so now I have this blog for sharing with irl or game friends and evasive-anon for batfam content.

This is a map of the range of all giraffe species. By my count that puts them in just 16 countries out of the 54 in Africa (of which 5 are island countries with no territory on the continental mainland). That's 30%, quite a long way shy of all, and as you can see many of those countries that do have giraffes only have a tiny portion of their territory within giraffes' habitats

Can you tell me what the Agatha Christie quote was you mentioned in your tags on the Red Hood post when he’s talking to Bash and Simpson? I’m so curious.

“And then there were two” is a quote from the Agatha Christie novel “And then there were none.” It’s an exquisite murder mystery where a group of 10 people on an island is picked off one by one and I *think* maybe the countdown shows up on little notecards but maybe I’m misremembering that part and people say the quotes out loud. I think it comes from a nursery rhyme given to the group at the beginning of the story. It’s one of her best mysteries imo!!

reblogs have always been in short supply for artists, sadly, but it's hitting the shitposts and even the cat pictures lately. Gotta keep getting the word out that reblogs are good and keep people posting new material that will be passed around for the next 12 years

They’re used to other social media sites, where the only equivalent of reblogging is straight-up content theft; so the idea that you can put someone else’s stuff on your page and have it not be a bad thing is a strange experience for them.

They’re likely also used to an algorithm recommending content based on what they hit “like” on, so they probably think that that’s how this works, too.
