Todd’s hair throughout the movie shows his character development

First he had it in front of his face, covering his forehead and shielding his “thoughts”

Then he met Neil and slowly opened up more, eventually copying the sidepart (Neil’s outgoing personality) but on the parallel side (still not fully Neil, but his extroverted personality in Todd’s own way, like performing the poem in front of the class, reading the poem in the cave after Neil’s play)

Todd, especially in the last scenes has that sidepart with the two-three messy hairstrands in the middle, just on the other side (maybe to represent Neil?)
