Really telling that advertising and the general vibe out there in society right now is that the only way to make enough money and also be happy and fulfilled is to make your income entirely independently.

Grindset not only in the flavors of gambling, investments, crypto, gig work, ai and content creation.

Grindset but Also in the flavor of "be your own boss", making your passion/art your small business, mlm shit, creating content of your new journey being an independent artist/baker/3D printer/whatever.

There is so much push to have people reject regular employment (or give up on finding it) and to assert yourself as someone who can become independently wealthy, people asserting that they can replace union jobs with protections and regulations with baking cookies in their kitchen and still make a living wage with health insurance and vacation days etc. Then struggling when thefe is no sustainable way to make a hobby business into that when it requires finding customers willing to pay massively high prices to make any of it work.

If you fail at being independently wealthy its not protected, you dont get a bail out or employment insurance. Its just a personal failing. You failed at the grindset. Its your fault.

It feels like a purposeful effort to reduce the lavor force, save industries on employment costs, and push as many people into desperate poverty without them immediately blaming the companies and government who set this all up. Because Other People are rich trading crypto, making tiktoks, running their businesses, filling the digital space with ai slop, so if you are failing to make that work for you its because youre lazy and not worthy of money.
