I get the feeling that these brothers are definitely figments of Mikey’s fractured mind, rather than actual representation of the brother’s true relationship, or ghosts. Mikey’s mind manifests his self-hate as his brothers just inflict that much more pain, he’s so broken.

This is dark, and arguably polarizing to the fandom. An interesting choice by IDW to release them as the teaser.
