Hypervigilance can cause fatigue guys. PTSD can cause fatigue, anxiety and depression can cause fatigue, Bipolar can cause fatigue, any and all mental illnesses can.
Please understand if youre mentally ill and physically or emotionally fatigued, that is not you being lazy! It is your body and brain being tired of fighting your illness! You are tired because youve been fighting.
This struggle you are going through is real, please do not let yourself or anyone invalidate you further by saying youre lazy.
There is something super gay & soothing about watching Xena on her path of redemption slaying monsters with her wife. Itās my happy place.
Honestly being disabled affects so many LGBT+ people.
In my town there is only 1 bar that has wheelchair access and guess what?! Itās not the gay bar!
Gay bars are also not accessible (the vast majority of the time) to those who are sensitive to bright lights and loud sounds. Example; some people with epilepsy, autism, PTSD, Tourettes, social anxiety, ect.
The pride march I went to last year would not be accessible (reasonably) for someone in a wheelchair or letās be real, anyone who canāt walk for an hour +.Ā
The local LGBT+ group I meet up at tries to be accessible but often forgets that if a location has to be changed then the same level of access will almost certainly not apply to the new location.
The LGBT+ friendly bookshop I visited while overseas had a tiny door which barely fit my small wheelchair. There was also a step halfway through the store which meant I only got to view half of the books that were aimed at me.Ā
A lot of LGBT+ resources online are not set out in a way that people with visual or learning disabilities can easily read, or read at all.Ā
The LGBT+ community as a whole (not just the disabled members) Ā need to make a conscious effort to include disabled people where-ever and whenever possible.Ā
We are just as much a part of the community as abled body/minded people.Ā
This is 100% okay for able body/minded people to reblog too.Ā

My Coming Out Story, Sponsored By Bank of America Ā Ā
SAM STONE
Since I was a kid, Iāve always known something about me was⦠different. Sure, my parents would look at me funny when Iād play with Barbies, but theyād also wonder aloud why Iād ask to dress up as a Bank of America bank teller for Halloween year after year. I just think they provide excellent customer service, Mom! As I got older I began to recognize that funny feeling inside for what it was: I was gay.
I knew I had to tell my parents, but I wasnāt sure how. Finally, when I was sixteen, I worked up the courage to sit them down and share the news. āWeāre so proud of you and we love you,ā my dad said. Then it was Momās turn. She turned to me with tears in her eyes and said āBank of Americaās Cash Rewards Card offers 1% cash-back on all purchases and 3% back on gas. Exclusions may apply.ā Her heartfelt words will stay with me forever. I was so relieved my parents were supportive, but I knew I had one more person to tell: Sharon, my familyās Bank of America Wealth and Investment manager. She seemed taken aback at first, but after a few moments, she told me ālove wins!ā and gave me a lollipop.
I went away to college, and suddenly everything changed; I wasnāt the only gay person in my small town anymore. Gay guys were everywhere, and before I knew it I was hopelessly in love with my first boyfriend. Our romance was everything I had dreamed it would be as a kid: holding hands, wearing matching tank tops to brunch, midnight trips to the ATM just because. When he left me after a whirlwind three weeks to focus more on his art (tweeting at celebrities) I felt like everything I knew had been tossed up in the air. Luckily, one thing in my life remained stable: Bank of Americaās online banking app didnāt crash once during this difficult time. Itās secure encrypted connection, and multi-factor identification were the only things that I knew I could count on. They even called me to make sure my card hadnāt been stolen when I rented Love Actually on iTunes twenty-four times in a row.
When it was time for my appropriately masculine husband and I to buy a house, where else could I turn but the multinational corporation thatās been an ally since the beginning? Bank of Americaās home loans have low rates, the lowest down payments, and I didnāt even have to read all that boring heterosexual paperwork! We picked up our tiny dog and our mid-century modern furniture, and moved right into our dream home!
All this is not to say our journeyās been easy. Weāve had our bumps along the road. My Personal BoA financial advisor, Michael, can get pretty stern when I overspend on cabs instead of investing in my Roth IRA. And you can imagine my chagrin when I learned that Bank of America was funding the Dakota Access Pipeline, violating the rights of the indigenous people, decimating their land, and polluting their water supply while employing excessive violence against protestors all in the name of corporate greed. We may have our small differences in opinion, but at the end of the day, what other soulless corporation has been there for me in the way the BoA has?
Today, Iām proud to say Iām gay. This Pride Month I celebrate not only my LGBT brothers and sisters, but also all the corporations that now see us as part of a profitable demographic. Hereās to us but, more importantly, hereās to Bank of America. Americaās official gay bank.

There is nothing heteronormative about butches wanting to be with femmes or femmes wanting to be with butches. Butches arenāt men or anything like them and femmes arenāt straight women or anything like them. Two women in a relationship literally canāt be heteronormative.Ā
Dans le Lit, le Baiser by Henri de Toulouse-LatrecĀ
This captivating 1892 artwork, In Bed: The Kiss, by Toulouse-Lautrec features two women caught up in a passionate moment. In fact, the artist considers this painting as the epitome of pleasurable and sensual delight. The color scheme that he selected was brilliant with shades of red and yellow, which were subdued by grey, green and blue. This enchanting masterpiece expresses the tender love shared by the couple, as though they were fearful of being separated from each other.
GAY AND BORING Ā just in time for #PrideMonth wear your boring #Pride and celebrate your right to exist no matter how not-that-exciting you are lmao http://shop.adamjk.com/products
The Rite Aid near my house doesnāt have the adult daily multivitamin of the brand I like, but they do have the chewable one for kids! To my surprise I prefer chewable vitamins because they are faster to take then pills and they do taste better. Theyāre also shaped like stars, which doesnāt hurt.
Basically, I have to trick myself into taking vitamins, but at least itās gettin the job done. Vitamins are goin in my mouth.
According to legend, Lilith was Adam's first wife. Exiled from Eden for her refusal to submit to him, she was known for centuries as a baby-snatching sex demon. But contemporary feminists and religious scholars insist there's more to the story.
