I’m sorry if this is a rude question to ask in any way but was there a reason to orphan/get rid of your Dr. Stone fics? I can’t see to find one of my favorite works of yours of the Dr. Stone reaction series and I was curious the reason behind it if you don’t mind me asking :( ?

I just think I spent so much time in that fandom and for some reason IDK really know who looking at those fics under my name started to make me upset. I honestly wanted to completely delete them but thought it would be a little too disrespectful of everyone who spent the time reading and liking the stories.

This fandom confuses me sometimes.

I just don't understand the weird obsession people seem to have with RadioApple somehow becoming canon to where they say things like they will 'drop the show' etc if it happens. You guys are really weird for this, tbh. Really weird to drop a show no matter what ships become canon. When you don't like a ship, typically in fandom you just... you know... write it out in your works? I don't think I've ever been a fan of any hetro couple in most of the shows that I've watched, and I also don't think I've ever made such a huge fuss about it.

I just think you guys are really weird for this.

I see like at least one post a day about this and its a waste of using my eyes typically.

Honestly, I can understand watching something only for a dynamic, you enjoy (the only reason I kept watching the newer Hawaii-5O after season 1 was because of the McDanno ship); your enjoyment is your own business.

The thing that bothers me nowadays is that people have to "announce" when they're going to stop watching a show, instead of just... stop watching the show. Even more annoying is that a lot of them insults people who still finds enjoyment out of the media, and are going to keep watching. I just don't get the entitlement. There are plenty of shows I only watched an episode/a season of and discovered that I didn't like it, but harassing people for liking what you don't like is such a horrendous waste of time and energy, not to mention it's selfcentered and rude as hell.

Another thing I've noticed is how a lot of people has to excuse themselves or put a "Disclaimer" before they say they like something (this is very common in a lot of Hellaverse-spaces). Like it's a sin to like a media that isn't "perfect". Or even worse, not liking a media that are "classified" as "perfect". I don't know how many times I've had to defend myself (in real life, mind you, not even on the Internet) for not liking a "perfect" TV-show or movie or book. Again, waste of time. I can have an objective discussion on what good and bad points a media has, but that doesn't have a lot to do with how much I subjectively enjoy it. That's not how brains works. I can't tell my brain to like avocado, no matter how how objectively good it is for your body to eat.

If I can give any advice after having been in fandoms for 25 years: None of us chose what media we like. None of us chose what we ship. Different things make different brains tingle. Embrace what you like and stop being bothered and harrass people who like things you don't. We only have so much time to be be alive. Don't waste it being a jerk.

I’m also not trying to be too ageist, but I find that a lot of the younger members of fandom are the ones that get pulled into the type of discussions that are just so plainly negative when you could use the same principle of “Don’t like don’t read” and just… move on. In my personal experience this is a newer thing, and I think part of why I see it so much in Hazbin is because it doesn’t have the same old crowd that other fandoms do—Harry Potter and Star Wars and Star Trek and etc would NEVER.

Hot take but the idea that Alastor would take the deal to be Lucifer’s executioner to take revenge on Vox is so??? Did we even watch the same show??? If Alastor wanted Vox dead he'd have killed him 70 years ago. He'd have actually injured him during their end of season 2 fight. He'd have killed him prior to the show starting. He'd have killed him before he could have gotten more power and allies.

Alastor likes Vox and has let him live and gain power because he does, actually, WANT HIM ALIVE to be his rival.

If Alastor DID take that deal with Lucifer and then was told to actually kill Vox, Alastor would lose his mind and do anything he could to break his deal before doing that. He'd figure out the loopholes immediately. He'd fucking attack LUCIFER instead for trying to use him like some brainless feral dog without his own input on the matter.

Vox is alive on purpose because Alastor likes him that way.

Yesyesyesyesyes!!!! Exactly part of the reason why when I write 'Our Lord and Savior Lucifer' that Alastor already has Vox exactly where he wants him under his own terms (mounted on the wall like a magic mirror) and in the comments people saying that Alastor wouldn't allow himself to have some open ended deal again, and YES!!!! HE WOULDNTTTTTTTTT HE SO WOULDNT!!!! There are some people who do this rather well but the majority of the people who write this AU make it so RadioApple that they practically forget that RadioStatic is practically canon even MUTUALLY (even if their obsession is not health romantic sense of thing, it is MUTUAL and STRONG and --) I could rant on this for DAYS

However I do think that Executioner theory can work if its Alastor's idea, a scheme, him trying to use this to get entertainment or one over on Lucifer (and oh boy do they fuck about it) but especially after season 2 it HURTS to see so many of such a really cool theory kind of pushing all RadioStatic aspects to the side. LIKE COME ON, if he WANTED Vox dead he would be DEAD. This man was BOOPING Vox mid fight. He ain't serious about it.

It might just be me on my rant but I have strong RadioStatic opinions. They vibe so much, are so mutually obsessed, these two are fucked up soul mates and that bond shouldn't be ignored. (at least in the fics that I read, ofc I am a big proponent of Don't Like Don't Read--I would never message this on a fic, but I can hit the rant on my blog)

Columbina Character Growth

I've seen so many posts saying that when we saw Winters Night it characterized Columbina completely differently, but I utterly disagree with this. Annnnnnd Arlecchino is the one that points this out.

People say that her singing over the coffin and smiling etc is super creepy, and it kind of is, but this was her FIRST friend and she isn't HUMAN and she doesn't know now mourning works the same way that we comprehend it. Then, she meets the traveler, she develops more, and Arlecchino herself states that with the loss of Sandrone Columbina reacts differently, is able to share grief with her friends, etc. This isn't them CHANGING her character, it's DEVELOPING. Just that some of the development was off screen, which makes sense, because the world moves without the Traveler being there.

Velvette rolled her eyes, but with a wave of her hand and a flash of purple magic, a contract was put in front of him. All the inhabitants of the hotel, thoughtless of his personal space, crowded around to read over his shoulder.

He felt his eye twitch as he quoted aloud, “Must act with sexual enthusiasm for a total of seventy-two hours, all of which will be filmed unhindered by magical interference, and, as the VeeTech sees fit, may be distributed as pornographic materials. I assume that this is the moth’s disgusting work?”

She raised an eyebrow. “Both of them, actually. I believe Vox wants to immortalize this moment. He seems to think you’ll say no anyway. I think what we are offering is more than fair, especially to get back Angel Dust.”

"Alastor is only ace not aro!" Do these people actually think this dude has any intention to engage in romance? 😭 Bff at this point they're either arophobic or just plain stupid. Media illiteracy is so bad in fandom lately but it also extends to the erasure of Alastor’s aromanticism. Both Vivianne and Amir have said they see Alastor as aro but apparently people won't accept it unless it's spelled word for word to them and even then they're gonna pull an "aro people can still date!" - said about the most romance-repulsed character in the show.

To me the weird thing is it’s really clear that he is canon aroace, but that doesn’t mean you can’t create fanworks that don’t have him being aroace. It’s been since the great early 2000s since I have been obsessed with reading a gay Harry Potter. In canon, he’s straight, in fanworks, he can be whatever you want. For alastor, in canon he’s aroace, in fanworks he can be whatever you want. Trying to claim he isn’t aroace is weird because you could just go write and read your fanfics and not mention “he’s not aroace!!!” But instead you comment it, and that’s some lite phobic shit. 🤷‍♀️
