Also to make this account more broader in terms of star wars, ill still be talking alot about my boys from the bad batch obviously but I will also probably start posting about some of my other favourite characters from other star wars shows/movies as I think they deserve some appreciation as well 🫶
I thought id give a list of some characters you might expect to see me talk about on here:
- Cassian andor
- Cal kestis
- Ahsoka
- basically every clone ever (alot from 501st ofc)
- Anakin
- Obiwan
- maul (the new show will defo make an appearance on here at some point once I re watch it all and spill my thoughts)
- on the note of maul - captain lawson (my new favourite caffeine obsessed man)
-the rebels ghost crew
And of course loads more as I could literally talk for decades about so many characters
But hopefully this will also keep me a bit more active on here as well x
I've had alot going on and currently am bed bound with a broken ankle so I've ended up trying to find as many things to do while bored af, binged alot of star wars and suddenly remembered I have this account
So hello I am back and I do actually have a thought to share after listening to noah kahans new album thats linked with the bad batch so I will post that next.
Also anyone who's sent me messages i will respond very soon and I apologise deeply for not responding for so long 😭🫶
For the purpose of I need to rant about my combined interests of star wars and taylor swift because of this new album
Can we all agree that "the fate of ophelia" is crosshair coded.
Him and the relationship he has to omega was the first thing I thought of when I heard it, it fits so well.
Like especially these lyrics let me break it down:
"And if you'd never come for me
I might have drowned in melancholy"
"I swore my loyalty to me, myself, and I"
And that whole verse tbh kinda links to crosshairs stubbornness and just overall charactisation and how if omega did give up on him he would have possibly remained with the empire/would have been stuck on tantis Probably left to die at the hands of hemlock
"I sat alone in my tower,
You were just honing your powers
Now I can see it all (see it all)
You dug me out of my grave and
Saved my heart from the fate of ophelia "
That part reminds me of how on tantis omega refused to leave crosshair behind even when he told her to, and then like his main redemption arc and opinion on omega changed indefinitely.
And then this bit
"Keep it one hundred on the land,
the sea, the sky
Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibe"
The 'pledge allegiance to your hands' in relation to his sniping skills and how important his hands are, 'your team' obviously his squad and how he found his way back to them eventually
And then the 'don't care where the hell you've been' I see as the batch and most importantly omega welcoming him back after everything that happened
And then the bridge
"Tis locked inside my memory
And only you possess the key
No longer drowning and decieved
All because you came for me"
Links back again to how omega saved him from tantis and how overall the batch did too
Do you guys see my vision??? I haven't explained it very well but i can see it so vividly in my head, Please let me know if you do too 😭🙏
Also gonna post some more of these cause theres one that I think fits with tech so much and an omega one, and also another crosshair coded one.
(If you can't tell, the bad batch consumes my every waking thought)
Got to see a panel with Dee Bradley Baker today, and when asked what Tech would have said to Omega at the end of S3 his response was (in Tech’s voice of course):
