Any suggestions of books that might help family understand transitioning a little better? My parents really aren't understanding of my situation as much as they attempt to tolerate it, so talking to them is really difficult.
Iâm not aware of any books, but there probably are some! Hopefully some followers might have some recommendations that they can share!
If you do end up getting some then it might be worth âvettingâ them first to make sure that they accurately represent your experiences of being trans as it is different for everyone.

This is more of an autobiography than anything, but it has a lot of good information as well as tips and advice for transgender men - I recommend Alex Bertie's book "Trans Mission: My Quest To A Beard"! I own it myself and my parents read through it to help them better understand everything.
