See that cutie on the left with the flower in his hair?  That’s Danny, one of my oldest and best friends from my middle school and high school days.  His dad was one of my teachers in high school, we watched anime and played Pokemon together back in the day.  He came to a Halloween party at my house dressed as Ash Ketchem (I think I was Piccolo that year), and we spent the y2k new year night running barefoot together around my neighborhood.

Danny needs an immediate liver transplant in order to survive, but he is in Thailand currently where the operation can’t be made. His family is planning to fly him to Delhi, India, where a Dr. Soin will perform the life saving surgery.  They need to pay for medical transportation, the surgery itself, and the post-op recovery.  As you can imagine, this is all very expensive… There is a GoFundMe set up to collect funds to pay for all this.

I don’t normally make these kinds of posts, but I’m scared for my friend…  We may have lost touch over the years, but I still care about him so so much.  I wanted to help somehow, more than just donating, so I hope spreading the word can help.
