Rules under read more!
Mun has watched the donghua and read the novels. Currently trying to watch the live action/web series adaption, The Untamed/CQL.
I'm Veri (he/they), 30+, with 20 years of rp experience. Not a native English speaker. I'm autistic and also have adhd and mental illness as well as chronic anaemia, all this will, of course, affect my ability to write. My speed will vary.
I'm not Chinese. I have done (and will continue to) extensive research and do my best to write anything related to Chinese culture and history as accurate as possible, however, if I write something offensive, please let me know.
Please read rules (under the cut) and bio.

Rules
General rp etiquette applies. Including not reblogging rps you're not a part of.
I'm mutuals only (and can be slow to check out new followers, sorry).
I don't rp smut and I'm not here just for shipping.
Due to personal preferences, I will absolutely not do any romantic shipping with Nie Mingjue, Lan Xichen, Jin Guangyao or any minors.
The Muse does some questionable things, but that doesn't mean the Mun agrees with those actions.
I generally don't use icons, only sometimes for starters or asks. I prefer donghua and manhua icons, but also use CQL icons.
I welcome AUs and crossovers. Unfortunately, I will not rp with any other Nie Huaisang (I don't mind my rp partners doing that though, I'm not the jealous kind).
Your muse should preferably have an about section (for ocs this is a must) and I also prefer if you have rules that I can read.
I have the right to decline an rp, but that is not something I do often.
Any headcanons I write that includes another canon character are based on my view of that character (or Huaisang's view) and if you rp that muse it's up to you if you agree with what I wrote and want to integrate that into our rp/history. I'll never force my hc about another muse onto someone else.
Things that will usually lead to soft blocking: untagged nakked images, call-out posts, repeated ooc drama posts (not talking daily life venting, but actually tumblr drama shit), breaking my rules.
Things that will lead to being blocked: I see you posting anything hate-fueled ooc, such as aphobia/acephobia, transphobia, Romaphobia/antiziganism etc. This includes posts about hating ALL men (yes cis men included), if I find out that you've sent hate or threat to others.
These rules might change or get added to. I will make a post about it if that happens.

This is just to explain where in canon/what age Huaisang is in my different threads. This is just for the main verses, not my alt. verses.
v: childhood - self explanatory, it's up to when he's 15 and we first meet him in Gusu.
v: youth - from 15 until he becomes sect leader.
v: headshaker - from he becomes sect leader until Guanyin Temple
What a lovely day. He explored, swung swords, and now Huaisang pays him a compliment. Could it get any better? Yeah... by having a really big BATH!
"Haisan, Haisan."
Hayase looks up at him, tugging at his clothes.
"Can I have a big big bath? You wanna also go in the bath? We can splash!"
Big splashing battle is the best way to close a good day.
"Yes?" Huaisang says and look down on his young friend. Hearing what he wants to ask, the sect leader laughs softly.
"Of course. I will tell a servant to ready the big bath." The big bath is actually a kind of public bath for the disciples. Huaisang generally bathes in his room behind a privacy screen, but Hayase likes to splash, so he had introduced him to 'the big bath'. Readying the big bath meant telling servants to clear it out. Not that he thought anyone would be upset about the little dragon, but because Huaisang wanted to be alone there when bathing with Hayase.
Trying my hand at some actions here! Let's have some tender moments, huh? Some of these could be construed as a little... risqué.

"Oh--I see. I'm sorry for your loss." Now Jing Yuan just felt like a jerk for critisizing the man so much in his head. Now everything made a bit more sense. Huaisang had never wanted this responsibility, it was forced on him.
"Ah--deep breaths my good fellow, deep breaths. I promise we will get our best people on searching for this anomaly."
And yet, despite feeling bad for him, the sect leader getting spurred into a anxious frenzy every other moment was getting a little exhausting...
"It's okay. Don't worry about it. I'm here to help. Besides, you may be able to help us some too. Had we never known about this anomaly, it would have caused the Xianzhou many problems in the future."
"Thank you, he was my world," Huaisang replies. This part is not an act at all, Mingjue had truly been his world. Yes, they had often fought, too, but he also knew that his brother would have always been there for him. He just wished he would've told him about the qi deviation. About what he had to deal with and not kept it hidden from him. Of course he understood something was wrong, but he hadn't understood how wrong.
Faking the panic and anxiety for a moment longer, he then start to calm down and apologising once more. He is good at this, apologising and appearing pathetic. It's how he has spent most of his life by now, especially the last twelve or so years.
Huaisang nods. "That historian and the healer also said something about my blood potentially being a cure for.. something. It was a word I had never heard before." They had mentioned Mara and if the test show that Huaisang truly is one of their ancestors, then perhaps his own, unaffected genes, can help with a cure for the diseased brought on by the Abundance.
"I will do what I can to help you and your people, General," he then adds, folding his fan and clasping his hands together and bow his head a bit.
You won’t find this pigeon on the streets of New York City. Meet the Pink-necked Green Pigeon (Treron vernans)! This colorful bird can be found throughout Southeast Asia, where it inhabits forests. It hangs out in small flocks in the treetops, foraging mainly for fruit. Distinguishing males from females isn’t too difficult: Females lack pink necks and are mostly olive-green in color!
Xie Lian smiled at how polite Huaisang was. Few he crossed paths with at this man’s age weren’t as polite as Huaisang was in these parts. Which might mean this young man’s upbringing was exceptional and might hold a higher status. “That’s great to hear!” Then he shook his head. “You are no trouble at all.”
Especially since I was the one who had caused that trouble to begin with.
Again, Xie Lian shook his head. “No one has come during your rest.” He studied him for a moment and thought back at how the other had arrived at his little shrine to begin with. The Wen Sect had caused him trouble. There was no killing intent in Huaisang, and he didn’t seem to be one that would have started enough trouble to cause a manhunt.
“How about I join you on your way?” Xie Lian raised a hand to make sure he wasn’t interrupted and smiled at him. “I might not look like much, but I can be of help getting you to where you need to be.” Though Xie Lian didn’t enjoy fighting, he would if he had to. Fang Xin was always with him, and he could draw sword when he needed it. But he often used nonlethal ways to face opponents.
Huaisang sighs in relief, some of the worry in his eyes easing. "That's good. I was worried they would come here and cause problem." The teen guesses that they probably thought the place was too small and poor to give it any attention. Surely no one would be stupid enough to hide someone running from the mighty Wen Sect? Thankfully, someone had.
He's about to protest when Xie Lian holds up his hand to stop him from interrupting him. Huaisang bites his lower lip, eyes a little wide once more. "Are you certain, daozhang? I've already caused you inconvenience." Though, if he was being honest, some company would be nice. He can be a bit nervous at times, used to a somewhat sheltered life as the Sect Heir, even if he did regularly try to sneak out.
"You don't need to join me all the way. It's a bit to walk." Huaisang wouldn't mind if he did though, but he also knows he might not be able to be away from the shrine for that long.
no amount of orchestrated class is ever going to hide the fact that you’re doomed to be alone. you’re a puppet, you’re a weapon, but most importantly? you’re a fraud. your facade isn’t malicious, but that doesn’t change a thing. everything in your life is in your control now, and you chose to let yourself become stiff and distant. you’re guilty of everything you blame yourself for, and your misfortune is the fault of nobody but yourself. your selfish nature forges you into a man-made monster, so quick to blame and so desperate to escape consequence. i hope that you can become someone you’re proud of soon.
@sonofshin replied to your post “Leans his head against Huaisang. Hayase is covered...”:
"Yeah, I had lots of fun. I runned around and people swinged swords with me. I teached them how to do it. They were soooo... sooo... im- i.. it was very cool!"
He wraps his arms around Huaisang's waist. Huaisang is definitely the coolest person in the whole... well no, not the whole world. But definitely the coolest person in the sect at least!
Huaisang hugs him back, smiling as he then gently pats his head. "I'm glad to hear that."
He has instructed the sect to treat the young dragon like they would a member of the Nie family. Just in case someone hasn't noticed how much he spoils Hayase.
