God I wish Waspinator actually made an appearance in the wfc trilogy show instead of the promo stuff
Warning, rambling time. Because Blackarachnia and Dinobot almost immediately go behind Megatron's back, it wouldve been nice to have a character to actually be with Megatron and HAVE VOICE LINES (looking at you Scorponok. Ya there's two of em in the show. Yes its confusing).
I know in Beast Wars he did eventually leave the Predacons but that was built up over 3 seasons, Kingdom only has 6 episodes, we can get away with it.
Would he add anything to the show? No but like 80% of the wfc cast is just there to fight or be canon fodder so it's fine. Hes an explosives expert according to his wiki, so maybe he can bomb em or smth.
I know his Waspinator voice probably wouldnt work within wfc trilogy given everyone talks so seriously, but here's an idea how to make it work. Do what tfa did. In the flashback episode that introduced him, he sounded just like a normal guy (and I got whiplash) and when it cut to the present, he had his Waspinator voice. In that one episode where it cuts to Megs and co stealing the Golden Record, we can have Waspinator speak like a regular guy and then in the present, he speaks in a Waspinator voice. IMPLICATIONS!
But most importantly his design looks fuckin cool. I love the idea of his stinger being on his hand.
Im sure it was a budget thing to not include him in the show or just what wfc trilogy did. It released toys for characters that never appeared in the show. Some g1 characters only have toys from the 80s and then wfc trilogy. But man. Sadness.
I like to think that before Kingdom came, Waspinator had already left the Preds and is still just chilling on Earth. Like beast wars. :)
To be honest , I thought they would be a canon pairing throughout Transformers after this scene . Though , I’m really glad they got to happen in WFC ❤︎

Fan continuity I’m making for funsies. Elita One has recently been appointed a commander and has her own team! Unfortunately for her, it’s a ragtag team of misfits. Chromia, the last Wrecker and trained sniper, Red Alert the medic who wants a smoke and to be paid, and Jetfire, the ex Decepticon! They’re situated in a desert on the outskirts of the war, lovingly called The Wastelands by those stuck in it who live in it. Their only objective is to stop energon and other supplies from leaving the wastelands, even though the main Decepticon force does not rely on them in the slightest :)
Update- Steeljaw has been added to the cast, I’m just really bad at drawing dogs. Also Chromia’s design has been updated, particularly her helm.
Oh and it’s an ao3 series as well. Feel free to ask me questions about this continuity, I have fun thinking about em :D
