Rocked it out today. Long walk with a friend and the kiddos and then house cleaning. Most steps in a day yet!
Killed it this morning! I did a six mile run walk and not only was it the farthest I've gone but it was also my best pace since I started training. I was so proud! Then yard work with the girls. Looking super classy in our front yard while daddy mowed.
No one is preventing me from the body I want except myself. I wouldn't tell a friend not to work out or eat right? So why the hell is it okay to tell myself that? It's not! Time to be my own damn best friend❤
Little run walk this morning with my girls. Then of course an extra exercise walk for the big one. I'm noticing how much my freckles are showing up already with all the outside time. I just ordered some sunscreen. Yesterday was my first day eating iifym and it was glorious. I never felt deprived, I never felt hungry, and the scale didn't disappoint this morning. Unfortunately I can't stick with it super close for most of this weekend as I need time to plan and we have company coming so lots of eating out. I'm going to try and make good choices though!
Hiking trail with the double stroller this morning. Pushing that 70 pound beast uphill was rough. Even had to have the toddler jump out once because it was too heavy going downhill otherwise. 25 flights worth of climbing and just started to rain as we were done. Came up and had some soup and snap peas. Yes, that is a fork. I eat soup with a fork, then dip the snap peas in the broth, and then drink the broth. I'm just that cool! I'm also trying iifym because I'm struggling to lose weight and inches. I'm getting stronger but nothing else is budging so time to shake things up.
Trying to stay accountable. Did a 2+mile run walk with my two little running partners. The big one asks to do her exercises when I’m done. I oblige. Hell yeah for setting a good example.
Not too shabby. I did some pacing around the house and yard and then took a walk with the girls and hubby around the neighborhood. Full days review on my password protected daily journey blog.
Giant, delicious salad for lunch today. I'm soooo full! Debating a nap while the girls sleep.
Check in time!
Reality check time. I have gained nearly 20 pounds since I had Squiggles. I weigh the exact same as I did when I was nine months pregnant, if not a little more.
Over the last few weeks I’ve been working out hard and running or walking 6/7 days a week. Unfortunately, I’m seeing little to no change. This tells me my diet needs an overhaul. I’m seeing that what’s worked for weight loss in the past doesn’t work now between being older and having two little ones in rapid order.
I need to get it together. I’m breaking out more than I ever have in my life. I’m shedding hair like crazy. I feel sluggish and blah. Time to be done.
Plus, I’m crazy, and want one more little person next year.
As a promise to myself I’ll be posting daily about how my day went. Being 100% accountable (good or bad) and posting what I did, what I ate, and weigh ins.
Because they will be such frequent posts I’m choosing to keep them off my main blog so I don’t drive anyone nuts. They will be on a password protected blog that I'd be happy to share with people who have been following me for awhile. So make sure to shoot me a message!
I'll still be posting here a bit but if you want my daily progress and to see progress pics (for now you can see less than stellar before pics), you'll need that link.
Tomorrow morning it begins.

Fitbit gave me my 75 floor badge and I earned that sucker. The exclamation point points at our car. We could see the ocean from where we took our picture together.
Sometimes, when your fitness journey gets hard, you'll look at the mirror and beat yourself up over how far you let things get out of hand. You might feel discouraged, sad, or really, really mad at yourself. When you catch yourself getting down look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that this will actually be one of the last days you'll be this unhealthy or out of shape. Each day you'll be a little fitter and a little healthier than the day before. Realizing that you have the power to change, that you can change, and that you ARE changing can make the biggest of differences. You don't have to stay stagnant. You deserve health and the life you want. You've got this!
i dont think i’ll ever stop reblogging this shit

I love this. Especially because he's doing fairly advanced moves.
