I sell soaps and scents at cons. The number of times women told me “You’re doing the lord’s work, selling soap at con” was immeasurable.

Of course, it only works if people BUY it…

Rule 1 of con: You will shower and wear deodorant every single day of the convention. 

I know for some of us with disabilities it can be hard to remember to do this but please do your best to make the show enjoyable for everyone. Shower and wear deodorant. 

Set a reminder on your phone, ask friends to remind you  to shower, pack deodorant with you so if you forget to apply before you leave the house you have some with you. 

(for myself with executive function difficulties -I make sure to pack deodorant in my bag so if I forget to apply before leaving the house/ if I need to reapply I have some).
