“There are some people who could hear you speak a thousand words, and still not understand you. And there are others who will understand — without you even speaking a word.”

My teacher mentioned something so profound today. There’s an ayah in Surah ‘Ankaboot that says,
“There are many animals on earth that do not worry about provision at all. Allah gives them their rizq, and He will give it to you too. And Allah is All-Hearing & All-Knowing.”
[29:60]
And she said, when the muslims were told to migrate to Madinah, they asked, “How can we migrate? We don’t have a home or wealth, then who will give us food?” So it was said to them,
“لا تحمل رزقها”
Meaning don’t worry about tomorrow just like the animals and birds who don’t worry and have full trust in Allah.
And it’s amazing that animals have more tawakkul in Allah than us when we have been given sense. There’s no difference between the rich and the poor, the muslim and non-muslim. Allah provides for everyone. So then why do we worry about the future and think Allah has not heard our silent du’as?
“If you were to rely upon Allah with reliance due to Him, then He would provide for you just as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with empty stomachs and return full.”
[Tirmidhi]
…and He found you lost and guided you.
Salaam ! How was your journey to self love and confidence ? I struggle with this a lot sis. I alot of it comes from not feeling beautiful. Also, how do you merge self love with modesty?I feel sometimes ugly with abaya on and find it quite hard to keep myself confident. I wanna self love and confidence before finding a spouse, I also feel like it would actually aid me in finding the one lol! BaraakAllahu feeki. You seem like a lovely sis 😊
Wa alaykumussalaam, I hope this message finds you well my love.
Hmm, this is actually a really deep topic. I still struggle with self love and confidence myself if I’m being honest with you and I’m sure all of us do, we’re only human.
The thing which makes me ‘feel beautiful’ is knowing that Allāh swt created me. How can i fault my Creator? Like imagine, every single part of you, every strand of hair, the bend behind your ear, the details of your fingerprints was created by Him. Instead of me looking in the mirror and pointing out flaws or feeling ‘ugly’, i constantly remind myself that I will be upsetting our creator, it’s as if I’m insulting His ability to create properly. Am I making sense?
I feel at my most beautifulest in my abayah and hijab, wallahi there’s something so precious about the abayah, in a material sense- its sooo elegant! And furthermore, it’s pleasing to Allāh. Something I do is before I put my abayah on in the morning before going work out just out in general, I renew my intentions as to WHY I’m wearing it. The first and foremost reason is that I want to please my Lord, and this makes me feel at peace.
Always speak the truth, be around good company, keep away from gossip and backbiting, drink plenty of water, recite Qur’aan at least half an hour daily, have baths with lovely bath bombs, light a candle, read a book, get off your phone, pursue a long lost hobby, go for a brisk walk, inhale the air!! Look up at the sky, listen to birds tweet and just smile. Smile. Even if you’re feeling at your worst, simply smile and this will elevate your mood InshaaAllah! You’ll glow ❤️
I pray Allāh grants you happiness hun, I struggle with this myself but everything I’ve mentioned above has helped me in a nutshell! And if Allāh swt grants us heaven, forget the beauty of this world, we will be more beautiful than the hoors InshaaAllah! May Jannah be our ultimate goal Aameen ☺️

„If you are thankful, I will surely give you more and more.“ - Surah Ibrahim 14, Verse 7
…وعلي الله فليتو كل المؤمنون

O Allaah, send prayers and blessings upon our prophet Muhammad.
Tawheed
What does tawheed mean? It means to attribute oneness to Allah, to single out Allah with ibaadah (worship) a. linguistic meaning : tawheed is the noun derived from the Arabic root verb: َُوح دَ / ُيَوح د (wahhada / yuwahhidu) which means to make something one. b. sharee’ah meaning : believing that allah is one with no partner in his lordship (Ruboobiyah), worship (Uloohiyah) or names & attributes (al-Asma wa al-Sifat)
The 3 categories of tawheed: 1. Ruboobiyah (lordship) : to have the knowledge + firm belief that Allah alone is the lord of all the worlds. To declare that He alone is the creator, the controller, the provider. He controls all of creations i.e. giving life, sending down rain.
2. Uloohiyah (worship) : to worship allah alone in ones inward + outward actions. To do actions that Allah has informed He is pleased with, either inwardly (the heart) or outwardly (the limbs, the tongue). To refrain from everything He has forbidden. All forms of worship must be strictly for Allah.
3. Al-Asma wa Al-Sifat (names and attributes) : knowledge of Allahs names and attributes. To have belief + conviction in them.
Some evidence of tawheed: •"O My slaves who believe! Certainly, spacious is My earth. Therefore worship Me (Alone)“ [29:56] •"I created jinn and mankind only to worship Me” [51:56] •"Verily we have sent to every nation a messenger saying worship Allah and avoid the worship of false gods” [16:36]
Books: •"al-Usul al-Thalatha" // Sh. Muhammed Bin Abdul Wahab •"Explanation of the Three Fundamental Principles of Islaam" // Sh. Uthaymeen
Keep in mind that every single stress, worry and fear you have will eventually seem so meaningless.
This dunya will be the absolute least of our concerns.
Always remember the bigger picture and understand the greater goal to life.
Persevere and struggle through your hardships seeking only Allaah’s reward.
“Al-Hasan al-Basree رحمه الله (d. 110ah) said: “How can you be a Muslim, and the people are not safe from you?”

It is reported that Jubayr b. Nufayr said:
I entered upon Abū Al-Dardāʾ – Allāh be pleased with him – at his home in Ḥims and found him standing in prayer at his place of prayer. When he sat for tashahhud he started to seek protection with Allāh from al-nifāq (hypocrisy). So when he had finished praying, I said “May Allāh forgive you o Abū Al-Dardāʾ, what have you got to do with nifāq?” He said, “O Allāh forgive!”, three times, and replied, “Who can feel secure from trial, who can feel secure from trial? By Allāh, a man can be tested with fitnah in a single hour and turn away from his religion.”
Al-Bayhaqī, Shuʿab Al-Īmān 1:857.
““Some people may complicate it for you, but the formula is simple: Love God more than anything else. More than your ego. More than your money. More than your desires…More than your sleep at dawn. Love God more than anything else, and submission comes natural. Love God more than anything else, and all goodness will follow.””
