Dismissed by the First Warden for not following orders, Warden Thorne joins her fellow dwarves in their search for a friend, Solas, a trickster elven god trying to tear down The Veil. When their search finally reaches its assumed end, the ritual they are trying to stop turns into a whole new set of problems, leaving Lilja "Rook" Thorne to build a team and save the world from the Evanuris and Sixth Blight.

Despite being someone who keeps the more intimate details of her life to herself, Rook finds herself surrounded by new companions that she readily calls friends. Slowly, but surely, Rook falls for one Scout Lace Harding, and while she has her reservations, she finds herself happily following the Scout wherever she may lead.

It was quiet at the Lighthouse the next day. Lilja spent half the morning not moving from Lace's arms and post-midday meal smoking elfroot with Neve under Neve's building. When the time came, Lilja met Bellara at the eluvian, wearing her Warden formals, which she had taken the time to clean and steam. She had Lace put her hair up nicely. Bellara gave a very faint smile as they walked together through the eluvian to the Crossroads, then headed to Arlathan Forest for Cyrian's ceremony. "Lace was right. You do clean up nicely." With a soft chuckle, Lilja looked down at her clothes. "I wanted to make sure you and your brother got the respect you deserve. How are you doing, Bel?"

Anyways I was double checking the DA wiki page for Rook to see what's said about the Mourn Watch background. Says they were raised by necromancers but not much more specific than that.

I'm probably not the first/only person to immediately go '... Vorgoth is a necromancer right?'

This is canon for my Rook now. Vorgoth is her adoptive parent. Because that's the most fun option.
