Dear beginner writers:
Don't sweat the small stuff. Don't panic about adverbs, or crutch words, or dialogue tags while you're writing.
Only worry about advice while editing.
The most important thing to start with is your style. Find out what you can get into the flow of best.
Write as much as you can. If you're stuck on one project, start a new one. Keep writing.
There's nothing wrong with writing fanfiction. It's an excellent way to start developing a style, and instant feedback is a perfect motivation to keep going.
That said, if you only write fanfiction, try to branch out into writing ocs, even ones heavily based on your favourite characters. You don't have to share it.
You don't have to share anything, really. If you prefer to write for your own pleasure, and prefer not to show people, that's okay too.
Editing comes later. If you're really into the flow of what you're doing, just keep going, whether you think it's good or bad.
Don't be scared to experiment! Try other POVs, try new genres, try styles, try anything you think is fun.
There's nothing wrong with losing motivation. Some days you'll write nothing, some days you'll only manage a few words. That's okay.
"Cringe" doesn't exist. Write what makes you happy, don't listen to people that want to tear you down without being constructive.
It's okay to be scared of sharing your work and asking for criticism. It's okay to feel upset when someone is harsh about your work. Try to reframe their advice, but don't let it stop you from writing.
Every writer is different. Just because you see someone successful using a different technique than you doesn't mean you're doing it wrong.
Find your atmosphere. Some like writing at home, some like working outdoors, some like cafΓ©s. Some like music, some don't. Figure out which you prefer.
Most importantly: whatever you write now won't be perfect. But it's doing so, so much for your development.
Don't stop writing. You'll only get better.

What You Seek
aries: adventure and recklessness. you want someone that knows what they want and someone that will pursue you endlessly. you want a person that is exciting, daring and brave. thus, you may have a tendency to fall for individuals that are good with their words and know how to have a good time.
taurus: stability and supportiveness. you fall for individuals that can crawl under your skin in the best ways. someone that knows what to do when youβre upset and always answers when you call. you fall for people that know the little things about you and always stand by your side. youβre not one to fall for individuals that are fickle and are hard to pin down.

How to Get Over Past Mistakes
1. Remind yourself that everyone makes mistakes, does things wrongs, and has moments of regret. There are no perfect people out there. In that sense, you are just the same as everybody else.
2. Remind yourself that βthat was then, and this is nowβ. You canβt turn back the clocks and change what you did, but you can be a different person in the future.
3. Allow yourself to experience and name the feelings you are struggling with (regret, guilt, shame, disappointment, embarrassment, sadness, etc.) β then make the decision to let those feelings go. In the end, itβs unhealthy to become attached to them.
4. Ask yourself what you can learn from the situation. What would you do differently if you found yourself in that situation again? How can it change the person you are now (so that you feel better about yourself)?
5. Recognise that failings and mistakes are part of the growth process. Itβs inevitable that youβll encounter obstacles, challenges and failures throughout life. Donβt let that stop you from really living life.
6. Remind yourself that βit was what you did, itβs not who you are.β Donβt allow any single event or experience to define you. You are more than β so donβt let that become your identity, or your destiny.
7. Give yourself the gift of a new day and a new start. Forgive yourself, let go of the past, and with confidence move on with your life.
