Because every time I get new ideas I want to start all over. I went to change things, and I always want it to be perfect from the start. If it's not the way I want it to be I do it again.

HAPPY [LATE] INTERDIMENSIONAL ANNIVERSARY

It was yesterday but I didn't post anything, I didn't even talk about it to my friends-

FORGOT TO SHOW, BUT I 'REDESIGNED' CRYPT AGAIN

OMG I LOVE HIM!!

I took inspiration from hair I saw on Pinterest, I haven't liked hair I've tried to do myself aaaaa

He's so colorful but the way he's described in the book (/ my novelization because I'm learning to draw and make a comic) is "like death". He looks awful and not okay lol, he's been hitchhiking for like 10 years

Probably something I've said before: But both the brown and blonde are his "natural" hair color, long term portal exposure causes the unnatural blue eyes and drains the color from your hair. Nyx, the known antagonist of the story, has completely white hair and very blue eyes.

Avery is just so fuckin silly. LOOK THEY'RE SO CUTE.

I was working on Erin and next I gotta make Faith.

I want to change Faith's face, I still don't think her design feels alien enough, but it needs to still be cute and realistic.

Former designs:

Biggest thing is just my style change, I've mostly locked in how I want them to look.

I keep making Crypt look like the nonchalant/quiet asshole character and that's not what I want him to be 😭. He's a bit socially awkward in the beginning of the story and closed off, but he's very extroverted and loud and I need to go back to that. (Erin is the only introverted/shy character, the other 3 are stupid social butterflies.)

I'm getting to the point where the beginning of the story is cemented and I'm working on the full timeline. What adventures they go on and what events lead to what.

I made her more goth, but a more relaxed wardrobe then full trad goth. And, of course, being named Bones, she had to have something skeleton on her design. I love her makeup!

No Bizarro look yet, I still don't like it.

Oh some other OCs I have (but their stories are much more underdeveloped)

Leech and Jace

I made them because I was in a writers block and was following some writing advice (but I still haven't written their story).

Jace is the main character, he's supposed to be a rockstar type of thing but I never put any thought into that.

Leech owns the record company.

It was supposed to be a short story about a toxic relationship from their power dynamic with slight hints to this being part of an extended universe I've been creating along with Interdimensional.

I'll sorta explain the extended universe rn because I've released none of it. (Another OC mentioned below:)

In Interdimensional the MCs are tearing down the dimensional the fabric that seprates dimensional narratives. We see this is an effect in a project I named Skeleton Appreation Day after the Will Wood song, but I usually just refer to it as Bones because that's what I named the main character.

Bones is supposed to die to keep the dimensional narrative intact and going in the right direction. But by breaking that narrative and not dying, another dimension is breaking into theirs. A Gravity Falls weirdness- type dimension with silly 'entities'.

Leech is supposed to be one of those entities, he feeds on power. He makes people like Jace popular by altering human perception.

But mostly the story is supposed to be toxic yaoi and drug problems with slivers of information about how the entities work.

For Bones you met various entities and see properly how the world works, as Bones has to go into it. The world is very Alice and Wonderland, and it warps her image to be a weird skeleton clown because I thought it would be cool looking.

(old designs)

Uh the other entities I've come up with are a kinda duo entity that's one character split between two bodies, and a "Dealer" character that's like a demon who wants your soul but he can recognize what an anomaly Bones is in this dimension and wants to BE HER and have that kind of control over both dimensions.

Oh and there's a character that was supposed to be the Main character of the story, but since Bones decided to save the world the story warps around her instead and idk what happens to that character or who they are. They're a concept role.

Bones would be be mentioned in Interdimensional by The CEO, Nyx, who wasn't mentioned in my post Bones is considered an anomaly, along with the whole dimension. But they're too busy trying to stop the Main characters from breaking more dimensions, the bones dimension has just been locked down and put on surveillance.

Uh I'll make full posts on each of the Interdimensional characters separatly, the MCs and Nyx, because that sounds fun.

HERE ARE MY OCS

They belong to a project I've been working on for 2 years and TUMBLR HAS RUINED MY EXTENSIVE POST ON THEM MULTIPLE TIMES SO YOU'RE GETTING TABLE SCRAPS RN

Character info and silly photos below:

Plot:

Idiots travel the multiverse looking for meaning in their lives, while also being hunted because it's illegal and dangerous.

Avery:

Main character. Avery is from a Grey Dimension, unpolluted by dimensional travel and has a normal life. They fall through a portal and end up traveling with the group, originally to get home but realizing life felt dull back home. They're curious yet practical, usually being the character with common sense not to run into stupid and dangerous scanrios.

Crypt:

Multicolored-haired freak. From a futuristic world that over industrialization destroyed. He escaped via the portal device on his arm I just call The Armlet because I'm so creative. He was just wandering dimensions aimlessly until meeting Avery and the others. He can be seen as almost a minor antagonist at times because he's the driving power of conflict. I love him.

Faith:

Little alien who thinks everything is fantastic. She's very caring and curious, kinda the glue to the friendgroup. She escaped her planet because it was at war, she took an enemy battleship and ended up flying through a wormhole which shot her out in a different dimension and different time. Avery and Crypt find her and she just goes along with them because she's got nothing better to do.

(She's currently being reworked, though. As you may see with the change in her eyes/expression for this photo. I'll make a whole proper post about this series eventually I just don't have the energy.)

Erin:

The sciency character he's introduced early in the story (but only became one of the main characters like a week ago), originally he was just a sorta salesman, selling junk and little trinkets. Forced to be in a pocket dimension with frozen time. Crypt came and would buy batteries for his armlet, which Erin had to specialty made for him. Eventually being in a timeless world selling junk for eternity drove him insane and he tried to destroy everything, but the others find him and he gets yanked into another dimension. Now he's traveling with them too :>
