To every author that cares enough about the characters in their stories to examine trauma, but also the slow, tedious processes of healing and recovery: your stories mean so much to me and other persons with mental health problems. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten or scrapped my multi-chapter fic. It's just been hard to make time for writing lately. I am currently revising the first chapter. Oh, and I have finally decided on a name for the series and the chapter. The series will be named "What Once Was". (Please tell me that isn't already taken) The first chapter is titled "The Ghost of You."

Since the release of season 5 of Stranger Things, it has inspired me to continue writing a fic I had planned out way back for season 4. Now that the series has finished and there's even a play of Henry Creel's backstory, I feel I have enough media to work with. I'll need to iron out a few things, but I'm pretty much ready to get writing. Of course, it's a Henry X Reader fanfic haha.
In summary, she knew him before he became the monster, when he was the friendly orderly named Peter Ballad, and she was a nurse. When he became the monster, she could no longer stand by his side.
