Reading the spin-off after catching up with the main story is.... certainly something.

For those of us who don't know Japanese it's important that you know this
I need everyone to stfu actually
(đđđ)
>book described online as full of perversion and shock
>open book
>stuff thatâs understandable or explainable in the context of the narrative
This one made me think of AFTG. That's literally how I first heard of it.
A moment of peace.
I finally read Witch Hat Atelier.
orufrey sketches
They make me feral. Somebody recommend me some good fics, stat.
Iâve read witch hat atelier and Iâm going insane
Same.
30s before a disaster (gojo bursting in saying that dinner is ready) (he knows)
This is literally a scene in my fic (Caught in Your Web) lmaoo
apprentices and teachers by day, daughters and fathers by night
Caught In Your Web has such an effect on me that it's one of my fav fanfics e v e r and I've reread it to the point that I REMEMBER THE NAME OF THAT ONE STUPID COFFEE MAKER/POS ah yes, the ALL IN ONE SUPER-AUTOMATIC COMBINATION GRIND AND BREW MULTI-SERVE COFFEE AND ESPRESSO MACHINE!!!! đ
OMFG HAHAHA THAT'S AMAZING. Even I couldn't tell you the absurd name of that damned coffee pot off the top of my head đ
Fun fact, I actually took a while to come up with that one cause I paused the entire chapter to do research on a bunch of different coffee pots, then combined the names all together to hit as many keywords as possible like this is some kind of off-brand temu item.
are you reading the ultimate frisbee yazuka SEQUELS though? while i am from east coast so am aware there is 0 yakuza presence in fuck nowhere west virginia, the sequels required no suspension of disbelief. maybe california is just like that. iâve never been
The sequels are like that because the entirety of the All For The Game series takes place in an alternate timeline where Al Gore won the electoral college in the 2000 election. Which is how they unlocked boba tea and nonbinary people technology even though itâs 2006. Jean doesnât mention the wildfires because say it with me now because say it with me now Al Gore fixed climate change
Also genuinely hilarious how the main series is doing insane evil shit w the West Virginia yakuza and theyâre roofieing each other and every 6 pages itâs either a slur or some twink is jumping over a table to beat the brakes off another twink and after 3 books of getting kidnapped by your serial killer dad and waterboarded homoerotically in Charleston West Virginia the sequel series is about. 400 pages of calming the sad goth boy down like hes a spooked horse like easyyyyyy easyyyyyyy no oneâs going to get you with the hose again have an appleđŤ´đ. and somehow they play even less of the sport than initially even though thereâs nothing else going on but hanging out thatâs key
Best description of TSC I've ever seen
canât believe people think gojo and geto are friends.
just saw someone caption a video of gojo and geto âme and bro when we go to japanâ and i was like ??? yâall ar gonna be gay when you get to japan???

Unpopular opinion, but I donât think that if Suguru had opened up to Satoru about how he felt about non-sorcerers, everything wouldâve turned out fine. That is an overly emotional headcanon that assumes that they ultimately wanted the same future.
They didnât.
In Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoruâs goal was reform. He wanted to change jujutsu society from within, to raise stronger, freer sorcerers, to dismantle the corrupt leadership, to create a system that wasnât so exploitative.
But that's it. That reform still accepts the premise of the world that Suguru ultimately can't accept: that curses would still exist, that non-sorcerers would still unconsciously create them, and that weaker sorcerers would still lose their lives fighting them.
The system might be fairer. Less stagnant. But the fundamental issue wouldnât change.
Even if Suguru had explained everything (the disgust, the exhaustion, the logic that led him to blame non-sorcerers), Satoruâs solution would still have been reform. Structural change. Gradual improvement.
But Suguru had already reached a radical conclusion: as long as non-sorcerers exist, curses will exist. And as long as curses exist, sorcerers will suffer. This is not faulty logic, this is the strict truth.
So no, a heart-to-heart wouldnât have "fixed" Suguru's defection or his depression. Satoru knew this and that's why he didn't chase after Suguru. And Suguru knew this and that's why he left. His fall wasnât sudden. It was long because he fought against the conclusion he reached. He didnât want to "falter". He didnât want to betray his ideals or his bond with Satoru. He tried to keep functioning inside the system for a long time.
But once he identified what was the root cause of curses, it was over. He couldn't simply unknown this truth, and knowing it meant that he as a strong sorcerer had the duty to fix it.
The fix would be a crazy and horrific task. But that's why he thinks he must be the one to do it. And heâs not someone who quits because something is difficult. Once he believed he had found the source of the problem, anything short of addressing it directly would have been cowardice. Living otherwise would be meaningless.
HELLO!! I want you to know i think about your spider itadori fanfic on the daily. it literally changed my life it's the best piece of media I've ever consumed
Okay so what are we...
