Not only do I think the handprint should have stayed/been put back, but I also think being touched by and angel and raised from hell is a moment powerful enough that it should reach back and echo through your whole timeline.

I think we should have seen four year old Dean being dragged out of bed by John who was grabbing him by the shoulder that was one day going to be marked by saving grace.

I think the last shot of season one should have been of Dean, broken and unconscious, pressed against the shattered window of the impala with his blood soaking into his jacket and staining everything except for one, perfect handprint.

the fact that we only have “herculean task” and “sisyphean task” feels so limiting. so here’s a few more tasks for your repertoire

icarian task: when you have a task you know you’re going to fail at anyways, so why not have some fun with it before it all comes crashing down
