This vegan pasta sauce is bursting with flavor and takes just 10 minutes to make. The sweetness of cherry tomatoes combines perfectly with the garlic and basil, creating a rich and satisfying sauce that pairs beautifully with any pasta.
Ingredients: 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. 200g cooked pasta of your choice. 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast optional.
Instructions: In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and saut until fragrant. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine with the sauce. Remove from heat and stir in chopped basil leaves. Serve hot, sprinkled with nutritional yeast if desired.
