Winter is often seen as a drab and depressing time of year. Normally by January I am one with my hoodie and motivation would often escape me. The past year has been one filled with growth and learning, with my mind set on my goals I haven't had time for my normal winter blues. Its been a nice change of pace and long over due. Now I'm actually close to producing and creating at the rate I personally think I should. One large pendant a week on top of my regular work and customs is my plan for the rest of 2018.

This pendant is my January inspiration piece, I combined silver sheen obsidian, rainbow moonstone and a juicy red garnet. Personally this piece helps remind me of the beauty and cold that come with this time of year. Inspired by the excitement after the holidays and before valentines day I found a heart fitting for the massive amount of love that is shared during the winter months. Although I personally don't celebrate Valentines day I do think it is a wonderful time to show someone how much they mean to you. I also hope to remind you that sometimes the best gifts are the memories made and taking some time and thought. Jewelry and gifts are nice, but there is something about a memory that money just can't buy.
