the whole reason why they're so unnerving is BECAUSE there's nothing in them!! because they're unrelentingly liminal and lonely and uncomforting. there shouldn't be a monster guy in there chasing you. you should glimpse other humans (?) from a distance but they walk away before you can close the gap and then they're gone. things should run away from YOU. do u get it

#in watching widows bay and I have mixed feelings because on one hand I think it’s so refreshing #I love the horror-comedy aspect of it and its characters #buuut I think it’s also a little predictable 🙈 like I can see the resolution of each episode coming miles away #and that not necessarily bad… as in I rather have that than stupid plot twists that make no sense buuut #also I would like a surprise??? I don’t know I still love it and I’m looking forward for the season finale and a second season!#also this episode was hilarious #widow's bay
