hey so i dont really have a lot of time to waste here but my dog is really sick and we don't have the money to get her to the vet. Her name is Bailey, she just turned 9, and lately she has been trembling like a leaf. She won't eat, going to the bathroom seems to be hard, and she shakes constantly.

Bailey is one of the most important things in the world to me, and to my grandmother, the woman who raised me.

Bailey is headed to the vet in an hour. the $600 estimate may have been wrong? I'm getting conflicting information but regardless I've got a lil over $200 now and I cannot thank you all enough. i don't know if its enough yet but it WILL help so, so much. thank you

BAILEY UPDATE!!!

we ended up taking her to a different vet than the one who gave us the $600 estimate. the $225 we got in donations fully covered everything and i could not be more happy

the verdict is that she has hookworms. she is going to be okay though! she's drinking plenty, and got a couple shots. we have some meds to start her on tomorrow, plus some special food.

thank you literally so much to everyone who reblogged and/or donated. im so happy we were able to get her to the vet so fast thanks to yall. bailey sends a million kisses forever

a slightly sadder bailey update

she's alive and breathing and drinking water, but she hasn't eaten in a week or so. i'm now im charge of giving her her medication, but she's barely got the strength to move. she's like a ragdoll.

we might have to make a second vet visit. we're gonna try to get one of those dropper things to feed her, and see if that helps.

any d0nations help, even a dollar. i cant lose her

My friend’s dog is really sick and he needs $500 for her tonight for the vet or she probably won’t make it. Please help if you can and share this around so Bailey can get the help she needs

This isn’t something I ever wanted to do but I am trying to move houses and due to complications selling my lease I am becoming dangerously short on money. I cannot back out of my new lease at this point, and everything was in line for it not to cause financial strain when I signed but of course life doesn’t always workout that way.

I am trying to do everything I can at work to make more money but I am already working full-time and my company is trying to cut back on overtime. I am still trying to sell my old lease but unfortunately have not seen any more interest in it

one time when I was a barista I was telling my coworker that I suddenly really missed cows. I used to work with cows all the time back home and then I moved away and suddenly it had been four years and nary a cow.

15 minutes later this old guy came up to the counter with his address written on a napkin & he said “me and my wife have a whole herd of dexters and a couple of new calves. come on over any time”

so after work I was like ok fuck it & I drove to the address and I parked at the gate & I walked down the driveway to the barn and this woman was like “oh my husband told me you might stop by! come see our cows” and she introduced me to every single cow. made my whole week.
