GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!! (S5E1)

Man I feel like shit to judge Lindsey so early in the episodes last season!

She truly is trying to make Dean happy and cooking him his favorite dinners. Dean treats her like crap! It’s him that doesn’t want his marriage to work and he doesn’t appreciate anything she is doing. She may stay home all day but she’s trying to put in the effort asa housewife to keep the house clean and cook him dinner after a long hard day at work. She wants time with him! It just breaks my heart!

I’m sure he doesn’t feel understood or cared for and his own needs aren’t being met in a different way but that’s why you need communication Sir. You can just sit there and stew in your own assumptions and feelings while she is trying her hardest to make everything perfect and to make her husband happy. Marriage is not going to always be sunshine and rainbows! There’s going to be hard and challenging times and if you both truly love each other you will communicate and work this out with her. But I know you won’t. You want Rory like in the beginning before you got married. You ruined Lindsey’s life if you leave her like this! Lindsey has no clue of your true feelings and you get pissed that she answered your phone. Lindsey deserves better. I just want to cry for her! 🖤

Rory was even passing by the meat shop and overheard Lindsey trying to make a perfect dinner for her husband. I hope reality slapped Rory in the face and she has a lot to think about before continuing further with Dean. Still can’t believe she decided to give it up to a married man 🤦‍♀️

Thank god she’s going to Europe with her grandma right now to get away and clear her head! ✈️ 🗺️

GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!! (S4E22)

All I can say is: WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!

Rory loses her virginity to Dean?! Married Dean?! NO!!!! She has it so wrapped up in her head that the marriage is in shambles and it’s completely over and that Dean has tried everything and nothing was working. Why do I feel like Lindsey is left in the dark in this and Dean isn’t actually voicing anything to his wife?! Most likely because he isn’t!

I get that it’s difficult to think clearly when you are holding on to past memories of your ex and you wish for another chance. Then he shows up pretty much declaring his feelings for you and then you’re like “OMG he is wanting me again! This is my chance and it’s going to be different!” Here’s the thing Rory: he never said he’s leaving his wife. He never said he’s getting a divorce and the papers were signed and they’re splitting their stuff up as they were speaking; or better yet, as they were screwing! OMG I CANT BELIEVE THIS! I’m glad Lorelai popped those questions to light once Dean left because it was obvious Rory was so into the moment and didn’t think at all. She’s angry her mother ruined her night but honey it’s something you have to think about. He’s a married man plain and simple!!! Now what are you going to do?

I do however think it’s great that Luke and Lorelai had their very first kiss!!!! Only to have it be interrupted with Kirk’s night terrors and he was running down the staircase naked and screaming with a pillow covering him! There’s your episode of Naked & Afraid!!! 🤣

GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!! (S4E21)

Next episode is the season finale!

After Rory experienced a horrible date with a guy her grandmother set her up on, she calls Dean to come and rescue her…

And if you think this is already messy, while Dean is talking to her at the front door to her dorm room, Jess shows up to talk to Rory!!!

Dean is angry and doesn’t want to leave Rory alone with him, but she makes Dean leave. You are a married man Sir!!!! You may have marriage problems but you being secretive to where you are is just horrible! Communicate with your wife Sir!!!! Rory even asked you about it and the fact you think sneaking around is okay and not being fully honest with your wife isn’t winning any points for Rory. She doesn’t want to be known as “the other woman”! Either get divorced THEN try and go after the girl you never got over or go completely away! You think Rory would even risk trusting you if and when you date her again after she’s currently witnessing what you are doing as a married man??

I honestly feel like Dean knows he is doing wrong but he wants to be loved and appreciated by someone. He isn’t going to leave his wife unless he has a back up girlfriend and is given a guarantee that it’ll work out before he decides to get divorced. He is just a mess!

And Jess, I also have a bone to pick with you Sir! Congratulations on reading the self help book about trying to find love and learning to love yourself. That’s a great first step! But trying to force Rory to leave Yale and not go back to Stars Hollow is a BIG NO NO!!! How dare you try to do that to her! You claim you love her but you want her to sacrifice everything for you so YOU can be happy! Rory is happy with her life and she loves her school and the hometown she grew up in! If you want it to work, own up to all your shit you have done wrong and change your ways! I’m so happy Rory told you no and that she doesn’t want you!

At this point in time, Rory is doing the right thing by focusing on herself and trying to get her future together. Boys should not be on the agenda! Especially two specific boys: Dean and Jess! Everyone needs to mind their own business and let her live her life the way she wants to!

GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!! (S4E20)

Only 2 episodes left so I’ll probably be posting after every episode until the season finale at this point 😂

Luke: he’s listening to tapes to help him declare his true feelings for a special someone. Lorelai!!! I’m so excited and I can’t wait to see how this goes! He asked her to attend his sister’s wedding with him and she said yes! I can see these tapes helped him because he looks like he’s in control of the conversation and for once relaxed. I want to jump for joy! I can see this new change is even capturing Lorelai’s attention a little bit 🤭 So cute!

Lindsey: she really is spoiled. She complains to Dean that she wants to go out with friends and spend time with her husband. She hates that she is at home all day and doesn’t even bother to call her like he used to and even calling him selfish and he never thinks of her! He’s selfish?! Honey that’s you!

All Dean ever does is think what you both need in order to have a living. It’s obvious your parents have bought everything for you and you’ve never had to lift a finger before or work a single day of your life! He is constantly working hard and breaking his back to make ends meet and make enough money to get your precious town house you want so badly and other things you want (clothes, car, etc.) You don’t know a good thing when you have it honey. Maybe if you get a job too you will understand somewhat and cut Dean some slack. Honestly, if he truly does end up having an affair, I will not blame him one bit! It’s wrong, but I also understand if your needs aren’t being met after a long period of time, then things are going to fully break apart and without communication and trying to fix things together then you both might as well part ways and live separate lives.

Everyone is splitting apart all because of the drama involving Jason and his father.😣 Lorelai’s life is slowly falling apart. Her parents living separately and now she just broke up with Jason because he believes he has to sue her father after what Richard has done to him

Well well well! Lorelai’s secret relationship with Jason is no longer a secret to her parents anymore! Horrible way for them to find out and they have been secretly dating for 5 months! AND Jason gave her a key to his place already. How did you expect this to play out honey??

Lindsey overheard Rory talking to Lane about how spoiled and selfish Lindsey is and how she should get a job so Dean can stay in school. Even talking about how unhappy he is and not really wanting a town house was upsetting her. This is Lindsey’s life and it sucks Dean is not showing respect to his wife! If your wife tells you not to speak to your ex girlfriend you need to respect that! Lindsey isn’t telling you out of jealousy Sir! This is your marriage on the line! Just the fact he’s sneaking around to talk to Rory now angers me and they both don’t want to stop talking to each other. Your marriage is doomed bro and Lindsey deserves so much better! How would you like it if it was the other way around and Lindsey was speaking to an ex boyfriend and refused to stop talking to him?? I’m sure you wouldn’t like it at all!

I get Dean is unhappy and his needs are not being met. He needs to communicate with his wife! That’s one of the keys to a happy marriage in my opinion. Dean is just too hung up with wanting to be with Rory and he’s turning into a very shitty person💩

I like how Lorelai’s plant in Jason’s place didn’t even survive very long! 😂 I see it as a metaphor and a foreshadow on relationships dying.

I think this is the time when Jared Padalecki AKA Dean has finished filming a movie with the Olsen Twins (New York Minute) and is just about to start filming as Sam Winchester for the famous tv show Supernatural!

GIRLMORE GIRLS UPDATE (S4E17)

Paris and Rory take off for spring break so they can enjoy some sunshine at the beach. The girls are doing things but don’t understand why they don’t seem to be having as much fun as everyone else. Ladies! You need to involve yourselves in the activities instead of laying in the sun reading books and eating pizza in the hotel room! 😂 Great you went out dancing and drank a little bit but actually get involved with beach volleyball, jump in the pool and play chicken fight AKA shoulder wars. Something!!!!

Paris is even turning into an old lady in front of my eyes. Dating an old college professor makes her want to mature faster for him instead of enjoying her youth. I’m sad she wants to revolve her life around him but he wants her to enjoy her time with people her own age and go out and do things. Honey, he doesn’t love you at all. This is a fling for him. He’s married for crying out loud with kids and grandkids!!!!

Luke needs to move on because his marriage is completely done. If your “wife” is bringing another man home to the townhouse you both own then that’s a clear enough sign for you. Luke you don’t even live there Sir! You just visit and eat her food! You chose not to spend the night there and stay at your current place with the diner! Officially make your divorce final! PLEASE!!!

Dean is also very unhappy with his marriage. Lindsey is great and all and she adores him but if her and the family don’t let you do much then your needs aren’t being met. You need to communicate with your wife here about how you are feeling small and ignored. Plus you’re still looking at Rory like a love sick puppy Sir. You never should’ve gotten married if you still have feelings for her. Or with anyone for that matter! You never should’ve called Rory back when her friends goofed around at spring break and called you. The fact Rory left in the voicemail that they were talking about you, you should have left things alone. But no. You called her back because now a door has been opened. I already see you are going to sacrifice your marriage to be with her and you are going to get your heart broken. I hope it doesn’t happen but only time will tell!

GILMORE GIRLS UPDATE!!!! (S4E14)

Man…these girls are having major issues.

Lorelai is running extremely low on money and her grandmother is pretty much saying she’s a charity case. How horrible..I don’t think it’s fully Lorelai’s fault that she is running low on money. Things for the inn are expensive and everything adds up over time especially if you discover things that need an extra fix that you didn’t think about before. I honestly wouldn’t know what I would have done if I were in her position! How can you possibly ask someone for financial assistance when you were supposed to have everything handled and figured out? Who are you to ask? She couldn’t ask her parents because they’re already paying for Rory’s tuition and they already did plenty for her with getting Rory through high school. Luke is an amazing friend and will do anything for her but he’s a married man now and it wouldn’t be right to ask for $30k. It would even be strange to ask Jason for assistance too since they just began to officially date. I guess she could do a bake sale but she doesn’t cook and no one has the time and money to make thousands of baked goods to make a profit. How will she get out of this?

I think Sookie isn’t really a good partner either. Yes, she is a new mother and trying to keep her life together while taking care of her infant child. But she should know better than to get extravagant things for the inn to cook with when they are just starting. Buy cheaper appliances and get better things when you begin making profit. You can’t get an expensive oven right away along with fancy sinks and such when you first start! But Lorelai never told Sookie no so it’s both their faults that they’re pretty much out of money.

Rory is having a difficult time at Yale. She is told to drop a college course because her other classes were suffering. On top of that, her dorm mates no longer want Lane around since she was not a current student and it was weird for her to live with them there. Understandable! She and her mom continue to miss each other’s calls so they both feel very isolated and miss each other so much. Is it just me, or did it look like Dean wanted to kiss her as he was comforting Rory through her break down? You’re a married man Sir! Move on!

I also think Lane made her situation worse with her mother when she called her by her name instead of saying Mom. Her mother was ready to want to talk to her too and try to build a bridge. She misses her daughter. Just hearing Lane say “Hello Ms. Kim” just broke her mother’s heart and put that wall back up. But I get it. She doesn’t know how to be with her mother right now 😣

And Paris….OMG Paris. If you didn’t want anyone to know about you dating the professor, you shouldn’t have told anyone in the first place! You just had to open your mouth to Rory that you’re dating him and you get mad she told Lane (her bff)! Next time keep your mouth shut and be grateful it was only Lane who spoke to you about it instead of talking to the other girls who will get you in trouble and kicked out of college!

GILMORE GIRLS S4E11

This episode really broke my heart. I was excited for Lane to have her first professional gig for her band. She had to sneak out in order to do it but she still went out and tried. So sad her band could no longer play since the band room was empty.

Ms. Kim was so incredibly worried for her daughter that she called the fire department and had family pray in a circle with lit candles for Lane to come back home safely. When she spoke to Luke about her daughter unable to appear for work in the morning reality struck. Her own daughter contacted others where she was and didn’t bother to contact her own mother.

When Lane finally arrived back home safe, she discovers everything she had hidden from her mother since age 6 has been found and her mother is standing in the middle of her room with tears. Ms. Kim has no idea who her child is and what an amazing woman she has become. Lane tried doing the adult thing by telling her she loves her and she’s wanted her approval so much growing up and couldn’t even reach anywhere close to making her mother happy. She wants to leave the college her mother wanted her to attend and is being truthful about being in a band and wants to be involved with her music. She even tried compromising by still following her mother’s rules and will not stay out late unless her band had a gig to go to. After all this, her mother kicks her out of the house.

Lane is no longer a child. She is now a young adult in her college years wanting to go after her dreams. Ms. Kim can only see Lane as a child and refuses to see Lane for who she is, even after she was finally being open with her mother after all this time.

It truly breaks my heart to see this happen to Lane. For once, she wants a life of her own and she is getting punished for it with no one to turn to but her best friend Rory. After years of abuse, I hope Lane can turn her life around with Rory and Lorelai’s help and get everything she’s ever wanted. She truly deserves happiness…

GILMORE GIRLS SEASON 4 UPDATE!!!

Did I just witness Paris making out with an elderly guy who’s possibly a professor?! 🤮 What happened between her and Jamie?! Out of all people, it’s Paris doing this!!!

I’m so happy Lane got a job with Luke at his diner. Poor guy don’t know what to do with himself since she’s too good at her job 🤣

And Richard has been going to lunch with his ex once a year since the day he married his wife?! Wow! Very deceiving! Never pictured him doing something like that. EVER! That Yale football game really revealed a lot of secrets and created some new ones!

MIDNIGHT THOUGHTS!!!

My mind can’t stop racing. It’s going from one topic to the next. Things from my past. Things for my future that I want but possibly will never happen. Even scenarios that absolutely make no sense that definitely never happened but could.

I can’t get him out of my mind. I wish I could go back in time and relive the memory of him holding my hand. Talking on the phone. Talking in IM on the computer before cell phones were super popular and had everything on them. I wish I did things differently. I wish I was more confident with myself at the time. I miss him so much🖤

I want to continue acting in films but it’s near impossible when you live in the middle of nowhere and you’re so far from possible connections to get further in it for a career. Hell, I’m even good friends with a famous persons best friend and I’m still not getting anywhere 🤨 I would love to move but living in California makes it near impossible to make your dreams come true unless you work yourself to death.

This is why I watch tv shows and films. I may be jealous I’m not currently on one of the streaming platforms but it’s also a way for me to escape reality…

GILMORE GIRLS SEASON 4 UPDATE!!!

Ok, I’m getting a little concerned for Rory’s grandfather Richard. Why you ask? He hires this guy named Jason AKA Digger on his team. Why does Jason want to join Richard? He wants to piss his father off by joining his father’s rival.

Sir, I would have listened to your wife. That is a horrible reason to want to join your team!

My worry is this guy is a secret mole for his father and is planning to take Richard down so he and his father will be the top dogs of all insurance companies. I’m hoping what I fear doesn’t come true 😱

GILMORE GIRLS SEASON 4 UPDATE!!!

So exciting to see Rory enjoying college and I’m also understanding how left out she feels coming back to her hometown for the weekend. So many things are going on and she’s no longer in the loop. When you first leave to start your own grown up life you don’t think about anything except what you are experiencing. You believe that you aren’t going to miss anything at home since the people you talk to on the phone will keep you up to date. Then when you come back to visit, you discover so many things that you weren’t told! You feel left out. Kirk installing an alarm for the house because he cares for their safety and Lane forgetting to tell Rory about Deans wedding day! 😳 💒

I am shocked that Dean still has feelings for Rory and doesn’t understand why she couldn’t love him. He misses her so much! Luke told Rory to not attend the wedding and it’ll be for her own good. I feel like this show was trying to pull an episode from FRIENDS since Rachel attended Ross’ wedding and he ruined the biggest day of his life by saying the wrong woman’s name at the alter. All because his ex showed up at the wedding and he saw her. I feel like Dean wouldn’t have gone through with his big day if he saw Rory one more time. It’s obvious there are still some feelings there with Rory wanting Dean back as a boyfriend. Maybe she even is thinking that this could’ve been her wedding day if she remained faithful to Dean like he was to her.

I’m honestly glad Rory listened to Luke and didn’t attend. Isn’t it bad luck for the ex to show up at your wedding anyways?? I’m shocked Dean even invited her…

Well, since I’ve seen there are still unresolved feelings on both sides, I’m predicting either Dean cheats on his new bride with Rory or simply gets a divorce and either way dates Rory.

This will be horrible if Dean risks it all and Jess comes back into town afterward and it’s the love triangle all over again! ☠️

GILMORE GIRL SEASON 3 UPDATE!!!

Loved how this season ended. Rory’s speech made me tear up and I’m so proud to see her grow up into the woman she has become. She even went out of her way and made a deal with her grandparents that involved her future with Yale. Her very first grown up decision and I saw how proud her grandparents were! I’m even proud of her final words to Jess when he tried calling.

I am shocked Dean is now engaged and Rory wants him to be happy and even helped him with a few wedding details! Is it wrong of me to want them back together and to give it one final shot??

Can Luke and Lorelai get together already?? 😂 I can’t help but want this to happen so badly! He even showed up to Rory’s graduation and teared up during her speech in front of the school. In a way, he is kind of like a father figure to Rory since he watched her grow up in Stars Hallow and fed both Gilmore women daily!

Can’t wait to see in season 4 about Rory’s trip to Europe with her mom and how it went and can’t wait to see what’s next on the agenda involving relationships with these girls! Haha

MIDNIGHT THOUGHTS!!!

Whenever I watch One Tree Hill, or anything starring Chad Michael Murray for that matter, I’m immediately brought back with memories of being in middle school.

I went to a Christian school during my elementary years and when I went to public school for the very first time I was so excited! Such a culture shock!!! I was able to wear flip flops to school, link arms with my girlfriends as we walked, wear makeup, even different clothing as long as it wasn’t political or satanic.

And finally I got to hold hands with a boy for the very first time. Not just any boy. But a boy who everyone liked and he looked like a very young Chad Michael Murray! I remember I once told him I love blonde surfer boys during one summer. The next time I saw him he bleached his hair blonde and wore surfing necklaces. So adorable!

He made me very happy and I felt so lucky to be with someone like him. After 3 months, our relationship was over. My so-called best friend did everything should could to get in between my relationship. She said she knew who he truly was and was trying to save me from it but in reality she was jealous that he was with me and not her. She became too much and he couldn’t take it anymore. So instead of breaking up with me, he would flirt with other girls during class. So I had to dump him. It really broke my heart.

Over the years I still think about him. I always wonder what could’ve happened if my so-called friend never came between my relationship. Even though we never kissed, he will always be my first love. Sometimes I can still feel his fingers with mine…the smell of his cologne….I want to reach out to him but none of his social media accounts have been used for years. I know he was in a dark place when I last heard about him from mutual friends. I just hope he’s ok and he will always be the very first boy I truly loved 🖤
