the purpose of my blog.
Hello!
This blog, is made mostly for my own purposes to collect some of my favourite pieces of history, art history, art (which I count animation to be part of), literature, & other historical information, oftentimes will likely feature a chaotic viewpoint. Posts on here will vary in seriousness (likely will be rather unserious, hence the blog name), because we deserve to have fun, and people in history definitely have themselves.
I’m a current arts student with a background (more, as of late-2024) in high & late renaissance, & a sprinkling of classical art & architecture courses. A love of reading (especially poetry) & history generally.
But I have enthusiastic love for many other periods of art as well as wider history, & try to do my research to make these posts helpful for me to look back on (& hopefully not embarrassing!). I also want to try to make an effort to include my sources, as that is much needed on the internet!
Also worth noting that we don’t respect AI art here.
