Okay, so 911 calltakers are trained to instruct a DV victim to avoid the kitchen and bathroom if they can't get outside and are trying to get to a safe room inside. The bathroom, because there often aren't any viable windows. The kitchen, because of the knives. If an abuser hasn't already thought of it, seeing those knives will make him realize that he can use them. Even if he realizes this and they're in a drawer, he's at least going to take a crucial few extra seconds to open it and choose one.

Listen, it won't always make a difference, but it can.

Speaking as someone who has been mentally ill and lonely for most of my teenage and adult life, incels are not just mentally ill and lonely. If you want to have an honest conversation with tra , you have to realize they are usually having one argument at a time. This makes it harder for their followers to see the contradictions. Ask them if gender and sex are the same thing. Don’t do the typical define woman or man thing. They will bury their heads in the sand. Ask them if gender and sex are the same thing. Lesbians not wanting to date trans women can’t be transphobic either. So they’ll have to argue why they believe these are. Ok so if sex and gender are the same thing, then they’ll have to admit that transitioning is useless and the brain sex argument they use can’t be accurate. How can you want to kill yourself for not being able to transition/being put on puberty blockers if you are the sex you believe you are? Arguments are chosen when it suits the cause. But put all their arguments side by side and you’ll see it for what it is…
