Was Jacques not born a Schnee?

What’s one thing all Schnees have in common other than theis semblence? They all have white hair and blue eyes. But if you look at the picture of Jacques when he was younger, he has dark hair. Even in the family portrait his hair is not completely white, where as their mother looks just like an older Winter.

So, unless there is some incest going on, is it the mom who was born a schnee? Which would also mean that Jacques doesn’t have the Schnee semblence.

Whitley Schnee

He’s an interesting character, and I’m not sure what to make of him.

At first he seems like the jerk little brother, and Weiss doesn’t seem too happy to see him either. But then he starts warning her and tells her to be careful. Weiss even ends up thanking him with a smile.

Well, looking at the family portrait, he is the only one actually smiling and their dad has a picture of him on his desk. This makes me think that he used to be like their father, which would explain why Weiss wasn’t happy to see him.

But then Weiss comments that he has changed. So maybe something has happened since she was gone that made him change his views or something.

This is all speculation of course. But just like when Winter was introduced, it’s hard to tell if he’s going to be on her side or not.

That scene with Pyrrah T_T

I didn’t see that scene coming at all. Jaune and Pyrrah are my two favorite characters, so it legitimately made me cry.

Volume 1 and 2? No tears. Volume 3? I didn’t cry because I was too shocked at what was happening. Volume 4? Makes me cry in the 2nd episode. Well done Miles and Kerry. Well done.

Also, Weiss' hair is not actually centered, which is great news.

The RWBY 4 short was amazing! The first time since the red trailer that I've actually been impressed by Rubys' fighting ability.

The thing that makes me the happiest about Yangs’ character design is the fact that she doesn’t just get a metal arm and then is back. That would have been way too easy. This way, she’s gonna have a lot of growth in both her personality and fighting style.

She can’t just rely on her semblence or brute strength anymore. She needs to be smart. Her fight against Neon is a perfect example of this. If she had just tried to think for a while, instead of getting angry and charging in, she could have tried to shoot the ground earlier.

And what she needs most, is motivation. So far she has just lived in the moment, looking for an adventure. She doesn’t a bigger goal like the others, except for Raven.

In fact, Raven might be the reason she get back into action. But what happens after that? She might not like what she finds. And take her away, she has nothing else.

Hopefully the second RWBY stream will work properly this. They are well aware of the issues, so it probably will. Some of the stuff that's been said doesn't match with my predictions, but I want to make sure I have all the new information before I make some new predictions.

Oh wow, didn't expect Monster Musume to actually get a dub 0.0 Should be an interesting experience... Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon and GATE getting dubs is awesome too. Even Himouto! Haven't seen the anime yet, but the manga is adorable. Unfortunately, I think Monster Musume is the only one getting a region 2/B release. And I'm too lazy to check >.>

Weiss’s ponytail is definitely on center and I’m such a fucking wreck over that. One time Barbara mentioned that it’s kind of sad that the only way Weiss was able to rebel against her father was by tying her hair so it wasn’t perfectly symmetrical and it’s just so sad that she doesn’t even have that anymore.

Interesting that Weiss' ponytail is centered. Monty told us that having her hair be asymmetrical was a sign of rebellion. I can think of two reasons why she changed it: 1. She gave up rebelling. This actually kind of fits with her new outfit. 2. There's nothing to rebel against anymore. I hope it's this one, but it unfortunately seems less likely.

So far we're 20 minutes into the panel and there has been no sound the entire time. Except for the ads. No problem there.

RWBY 4 predictions/wishlist

Been a while since I made a post, so here goes ^^ - I have no doubt that RNJR will be the main focus of the volume. Hopefully this means that we will get a lot of character development and backstory for Ren and Nora, maybe even Ren's semblence. - I would love to see Jaune having to deal with Pyrrah's death. I would be happy to see it from the others, of course, but no one will be affected as much as him. - Considering that this is an opportunity to finally see the "outside", other than Mountain Glenn, we will probably follow their journey rather than just jump straight to Mistral. If that's the case, there is no guarentee that we will actually get to see Mistral and SSSN. - Kare has recorded lines for Weiss, so we know that she will be in volume 4. Which also means seeing Atlas. To me this supports the theory that we might not see Mistral. You know, show one city at a time. If that's the case we might see some of the small villages. That might be how they get to Ren and Nora. - I would like some between Weiss and her family. Especially considering how much she has changed in both her personalty and her view on the faunus. I can predict that causing major issues with daddy Schnee. - My theory is that she won't put up with it anymore and leave Atlas. Maybe she gets a tip about Mistral or maybe a tip about Blake. - Some more team FNKI would be great. I loved Neon and would like to see the remaining two members. It would also be great to see them interact with Weiss, especially after Weiss and Flynt had that "mutual respect" moment. - This would also be a great opportunity to meet new teams. Maybe Weiss has been moved to a new team in Atlas. I obviously can't predict too much about new characters. We'll just have to wait and see. - More Winter. That's all. - I don't think we're going to see much of Blake, if at all. It would explain why volume 2 spent so much time on her. Really don't know what they're gonna do with her. - Yang is also tough to predict. She could be going to Mistral, after Raven, somewhere else or nowhere at all. It's a popular theory that she will get a metal arm, but how will she get it? It can't be that common, or she would have already got it. Remember, Ironwood and Mercury aren't excactly normal people. - Also, personally, I would like it if she gets over her depression before she gets a new arm. One of her flaws is being too hot headed. This might help her be more calm. She has taken massive blow to her self esteem, so might also be less cocky in future fights. Whew, I think that's it for now. Sorry is it was a bit long, but it's just 8 hours till the RWBY4 RTX panel, so I got kind of excited :-P

Really excited for more Jaune

Yup, I said it. It’s a really interesting experience to look at RWBY stuff on tumblr when your favorite character is Jaune. It used to really annoy me when I saw Jaune hate, but now it just amuses me. People can get really emotional about how much they hate him.

But I honestly am looking forward to see Ruby, Jaune, Ren and Nora travel together. I’ve always found the friendship between Jaune and Ruby to be really cute and relatable (To the socially awkward). 

I do wonder whether RT intends to eventually turn it romantic, considering that Arkos is pretty much dead now, or just keep it as friends. I’m kind of torn on which one I would prefer. While I actually could see them as a good couple, I kind of like them as just being friends. I guess in the end I wouldn’t be opposed to either.

But if they do intend to make it romantic, I hope they plan to make it slow. I’m sure Jaune is still devastated by what happened to Pyrrah. He needs time to recover. Of course, that’s just if it happens. It’s all speculation at this point. Also, I’ve never been able to figure out why their ship name is Lancaster.

Well, just trying to remind people that not all fans hate Jaune. In fact, some of us love him. So I wanted to spread some positivity. If you’re a fan of Jaune, don’t attack some who dislikes him. It’s totally fine not to like him. Instead, just speak up about how you like him as a character and, if you feel like, why you like him.

Seriously though, the voice acting was superb in this episode.

Jaune when he’s pleading with Weiss to save Pyrrah, Ruby after she has woken up, Yang when she goes into angst mode.

I’ve never felt the voice acting was bad, but it has definitetly improved since Volume 1.
