Ashley, please FOCUS ON THE MATCH !!!! Not the pretty Scottish prince running around on your defense !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Angus on the brain !!!!!!! @theamaus-fortress2
does Angus have any siblings? fellow adopted ones OR biological
The Wallace clan
I know you only asked about his brother but I wanna quickly introduce you to his whole family:
Angus Wallace is the oldest son of Finlay and Ailsa Wallace, a very wealthy family from Glasgow, Scotland.
His grandfather started the world famous scotch brand "Wallace & sons" and his father has been grooming him for the role of CEO since he was 14. He is expected to take over the family business once his father retires. His younger brother Fergus has been offered the possition as "second in command" once Angus takes over, but secretly hopes his older brother chooses to stays in his chosen carrier as demoman in America.
Angus and his family:
Angus has a lot of complicated feelings regarding his family and his role in it. He loves his parents and brother more than anything, but he also feels like they pushed him into the role they wanted for him too early in his life, and he spent a lot of his teens and early 20s rebelling against it. Now that he is older and has spent time alone doing his own thing and reflecting on who and what he wants to be, he is slowly returning to his roots and taking steps to becomming the head of his familys business. If his brother will let him...
Angus loves his mother, but he also knows that his brother his her favourite. She does her best to treat them equally, but also has a bad habbit of babying and spoiling Furgus, since he is her little miracle, where Angus has to work harder for what he has. Although she has never - and will never - be able to say no to his big brown puppy eyes for long. He has his love of jewelry and sailing from her. She wants what's best for her sons, even if they don't always agree with her on what that looks like. So even when Angus drags home some beat up, mean looking American soldier and says "but mother i love him!" while batting his big brown eye, she sighs, gives him a hug, welcomes him inside and hopes this one turns out better than the last.
Angus has always been closest with his father. He is the eldest son and they share a lot of personality traits, like their adherence to the rules (rules are rules for a reason!), their perfectionism, diligent work ethic and most of all their charm! Angus has spent most of his childhood in his fathers company and even when they fought as Angus became older, he still respected him immensely. His father knows his son has a lot on his shoulders, but he also believes he has the strength of character to handle it. He was sad to see him waste away his 20s on booze and sketchy company, but he also knew (or rather hoped) that this was something he needed to go though to find himself. He is happy to see his son return to the family business, even now that his younger son has shown a lot more interest in it in his brothers absence. He doesn't know what do say to the man his son brings home, but he warms up to him eventually and even comes to respect him.
Angus' brother Fergus was a miracle, and has been treated as such since he was born. They love each other like brothers do, but both Angus and Fergus feels like there is an unspoken conversation when it comes to who the true heir is. The oldest, but adopted son or the youngest, but full-blooded son? Fergus is closest with his mother and being mostly free to do with his life as he pleases, unlike his older brother, has made him a bit of a libertine. After Angus goes to fight in America Fergus gets the idea that maybe he should run the familybusiness. He's here isn't he? Angus doesnt even seem to want it! He tries to convince his father, but even with his mothers full support, Finlay won't even entertain the idea without Angus present. Aside from the professional side, they do love each other. They yell and tease and get on each others nerves like brothers do, but if they were ever in trouble the other would come to the rescue.
In the future Angus will propose that he and Fergus become co-owners of the business. That way he can still go off and do his own thing from time to time while also giving his brother a chance to show their father hat hes capable of.
Tell me more about the Fucking Trainwreck that is Onson.
As someone with a profound love of chemistry myself I'm curious how he got so good with drug making.
Also Why does he self medicate with the things he makes. What event/events led him to not only constantly be on a Benzo bender but to join the Blu team?
Like even if I was an amoral corporation in a death race with a rival company would I risk hiring him if he was just as manic when I first met him?
I mean clearly it works out...well enough...most of the time.
Also does he actually Like any of his team mates. Like are there any he not just tolerates but appreciates?
Drug making is Onson’s passion. It’s the craft he’s dedicated his life to! He’s incredibly interested in seeing how far he can push the human body chemically— especially now with a respawn machine at his disposal. Death is no longer an obstacle to his experiments.
Onson’s self-medicating began a long time ago. He deals with a lot of panic and anxiety on a daily basis, and medicating really helped him with that initially; before he went overboard, of course.
The answer as to why BLU would hire Onson despite his insanity is simple: he’s really good at what he does. He’s useful on the battlefield, of course, but they’re also interested in his research.
As stated in his bio, he has created medicine that can keep a person awake for days, dull pain entirely, etc.
Despite Onson being such a liability, the possibility of inventions that can render workers immune to exhaustion and pain is very attractive to his amoral employers.
As for any teammates he likes?… no. None in particular. Not yet, at least. The two he tolerates the best are the Soldier and the Heavy. The Soldier seems very keen on avoiding Onson like the plague, so he can appreciate him for leaving him and his work alone. The Heavy, on the other hand, Onson appreciates for being the most willing to participate in his clinical trials. He can be coerced into biweekly mysterious injections with little more than a lollipop.
Thank you so much for another ask!! Sorry for the delay in answering!
i NEED to know about shown’s lovelife please please please!!
HI THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE ASK!!
Furcotte has a LONG line of exes. 1 in 10 people have dated Furcotte. Probably.
He doesn’t necessarily have a type— whoever his lovebombing works on. He was the kind of guy who was always in a relationship (before he was hired by BLU). He often tries to fill the “void” by hopping from relationship to relationship.
Most of her relationships fail due to insecurity on her part. She finds herself in many toxic situations, but even in a healthy relationship, she can never be assured that her partner actually loves her & finds her attractive, and always thinks there must be a catch, or a lie, or something. He constantly assumes his partners are cheating on him, not attracted to him, etc. and accuses them of such repeatedly until they leave, only cementing his delusions.
Anyway, since joining BLU, Furcotte has definitely had her eye on a few of her teammates— but even she has some decency. A relationship with a coworker (at this kind of job, nonetheless) is bound to end horribly for everyone involved.
How much longer can he bear to be single, though?… >:3c
A well-meaning clairvoyant who lets the clouds decide his fate.
Darryl Archideld was an incredibly normal man with an incredibly normal life, working an incredibly normal office job. That was until he was struck by lightning while biking home from work, completely altering his personality and giving him psychic powers.
He doesn’t remember anything from before the lightning strike— but he has a few photographs from corporate events and an Employee of the Month mug. He can read auras, interpret objects or experiences as good/bad luck, and occasionally receive visions of the future. He has a little pouch of the RED team’s teeth that he tosses around to predict outcomes or to answer yes or no questions.
Darryl has a set of poppets, each representing a member of the team. Most are wary about him having these, but he actually takes good care of them. He will “feed” the dolls healing oils, give them massages, and whisper affirmations into their ears. He’s sure this helps them in battle.
For years, he woke up at 5am every day for his job— and though he may have forgotten that, his body hasn’t! He wakes up early every morning and performs a strict 3-hour regimen, which involves grueling exercise, yoga, and finally, meditation. Darryl encourages all his teammates to join him, but no one has ever taken him up on the offer.
He’s a good teammate to have on the battlefield; he likes to follow a plan and listen to a leader, rather than go in guns blazing. However, he’ll let his predictions change how he fights. If Darryl gets some kind of indication that they’re going to lose the match (from his tea leaves or the way the clouds looked that morning), he won’t try at all. Wether it be via a self-fulfilling prophecy or actual psychic abilities— his predictions are, uncannily, almost always correct.
