Gotcha Day Boy Spotted!

It’s my dog Romie’s gotcha day today!!!!! We’ve officially had him for a year now <3 I love my old man so much, it’s like he’s aging backwards!

His story👇

Romeo was originally owned by a lady who kept him in a her garage, and he would get out and the local shelter would pick him up. She kept coming back to get him, but she still mistreated him. At one point they had to step in and take him away from her for good. She’s still trying to sue the shelter to this day 😬

When he was first picked up, he was mostly hairless and in terrible condition. Even so, he still had lots of energy and love to give. They were having a shelter open house one day and my mom decided to stop by, and she asked them if they had a small dog that would get along with our other rescue, Finn. They said they had the perfect dog, but he hadn’t been adopted yet because he was 12 years old. We all fell in love and the rest is history <333
