Finally figured out how to permanently disable google assistant on phone
You can't just post this and not tell us how man
Instead of being in settings its in the google app. Also, google, not chrome. Icon is a G, not the circle thing. Click on your pfp to open a menu
From there, go Settings > Gemini > Digital Assistants > Switch to Google Assistant. This disables Gemini, google's AI assistant, and switches you back to the old one. We aren't done yet.
Go back to Settings. From there, we go Settings > Google Assistant > scroll to find General > Google Assitant on/off > turn it off
They really tried their best to make it a pain, but you can eventually disable it. Holding the power button on your phone still pulls up a menu and asks you to turn it back on, but this is the least intrusive you can make it.
Applies to all non-apple phones afaik. For sure Samsungs and Pixels but idrk about others
Edit: thank you my friend @/teeth-kid for confirming that this also works on Motorola
I thank you, my wife thanks you, and as for the reblog chain, that goes without saying.
BIG LOVE! BIG CHALLENGES!
when a child with chronic or terminal illness or a disability/their sibling is well informed about the condition strangers love to say "no child should have to know that 😢" yeah well i think the world would be significantly better if more children knew about that actually. teach your healthy kids about illness teach your abled kids about disability Please !
and people will say this about the stupidest shit of all time. a diabetic child is like "this is my glucose monitor! these are my ketone test strips!" and people are aghast "no baby should have to know about this!!!!" okay so youd rather his mom just poked and tested him and injected insulin and collected his urine without explanation? you genuinely would prefer this child live in fear and ignorance about the daily routines of his life? because like no amount of pouty faces and prayers and condescending instagram comments are going to remove the illness from the child's life so our options are being informed about our bodies or being confused/frightened by them.
if i had a time machine id go back in time and somehow influence the disney animators working on the jungle book to animate kaa's hypnotic power the way the book depicted them (like what the soyuzmultfilm movie did) where he uses hypnotic body movements instead of his eyes to hypnotize prey. I would do this to cause suffering to the resulting hypno kink artists who now have to tediously draw out complicated body movments instead of just making the eyes swirly. to be clear i have nothing against hypno kink artists or art i just want to cause problems
post that links you to a youtube vid of The Adventures of Mowgli 1973 Soyuzmultfilm (with english subtitles)
My fursona is gator/cow hybrid, but HER fursona is an anomalocaris, one of the most charismatic creatures of the cambrian explosion
no i havent seen that critically acclaimed movie with significant relevance to culture. no yeah, still working through bad stuff from other decades

Gun dudes are so fixated on minute details that if I ever end up drawing a comic that features firearms, I'm going to have to draw tiny black censorship bars over the most sensitive identifying details like they do on cocks in hentai.
!!! that's an amazing doctor right there
im emotional about food , music , human connection , the way the streetlights were orange in 2009. whatever
Fun fact, street lights should be orange again!! The blue lights we are currently using is incredibly attractive to insects and cause them to fly around it till they die from exhaustion, collisions, predators, etc.
We are in the midst of an insect apocalypse that is already having far reaching effects on bird populations and the food web as a whole. Changing the lights we use is just one way we can begin to slow the course of—and perhaps begin to reverse—this calamity.
one thing you can do today is switch your outdoor lights to these yellow LED bulbs—

Me when I'm old as fuck and my grandkids talk to me: this reminds me of a post. I gotta go find the post
Grandkids: grandpa sit down you don't need to show us a post
Me: (not listening) Now where was that post....
Reverse Therian
The amount of tags on that sharkplane77 post that use the words "actually", "genuinely" "unironically" preceding "good"....
Why do you feel the need to add those words?
And then there's the ones saying the quiet part out loud and saying like "wow this is pretty cool for being furry art"
I know it's hard but please leave that attitude behind. Stop acting like it's exceptional when furries make good art, or neurodivergent people, or anyone who exists outside the range of who you'd expect to "get it" ("outsider art")
Like, it's ok if you dont like all the furry art out there, it's ok to have your own tastes and values when looking at art and you should. You should also examine where those tastes and values come from and maybe you'd be less surprised that you can find beauty in what you've previously asessed as "weird" art made by "weird" people. Please have some respect and ignore the urge to draw the line that terms like "weird" or "outsider" create.
