this is a very self-indulgent term and it is also very important to me so i dont know if anything like this already exists but i needed to make something like this for myself . i recently came to the realization this pride month that i am asexual and i feel like my asexuality was heavily amplified by my entire loss of libido or sexual desire once i started taking lexapro . im not on it anymore but nothing has changed , but i was always asexual in the first place .

ive read tons and tons of discussion online about medication side effects 'causing' asexuality and most people ive seen said its not possible , but i dont really believe that since we are all different . its taken me quite a bit to get over the guilt of my late realization , especially due to all the discussion ive read about this specific situation online , but now i know that ive always been asexual . my medication just helped me realize that later than i wish it did . my situation is more complicated (i am alloromantic asexual specifically) but i think that a term like this helps me describe my asexuality on a more personal level . ty for reading if u did read all this ^.^
