like im sorry i didnt want to be a hater but every day i think of something new from s2 to be mad about

#didnt get to see dicks identity reveal. if it ever even happened? still kinda unclear on who knows his identity #didnt get to see kaldur leaving the team / handing leadership over to dick when that was such a big deal in s1 #or get to see kaldur develop his sorcery skills as mentioned in that one ep in s1 #or see a good culmination of wally/artemis tho s1 flopped that on its own by just having them kiss at the end instead of giving them a big #clear feelings realization/confession and im very upset about this.#or gar realizing he has powers and all the stuff that would come along with that #or seeing babs and karen and all the other bg characters from s1 actually BECOME heroes and join the team for the first time #and all the new things they intro in s2 like. we wont get to see dick become nightwing #or any of the couples (conner megan breakup. wally artemis quit heroing. roy jade GET MARRIED AND THEN BREAKUP ???)#apparently ted was blue beetle then died and now jaime is. wouldve loved to see that in real time instead of two second flashbacks #conner clark relationship development guess we dont get to learn abt him getting the name kon el or them having a brotherly relationship #sigh. sigh sigh sigh. #i’ve been pissed off this whole season bc of the time skip but kaldur as always is the best part of the show #which i’ve been saying since day 1.#and so first i was pissed bc i was like i dont think he would fucking say that (become evil). and then hes actually been good this whole #time. but now he’s catatonic. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK MGANN STOP MAKING PEOPLE BRAIN DEAD #they were starting to get me!!! even tho im still like why would they do a time skip!!! i was like oh!!!#actually this season’s plot seems more put together than s1!!! then this #what the fuck ever. i didnt wanna be invested anyway. and surely that kid with static shock colors is virgil.#and i called that the partner was black beetle. if anyone even cares #and while im here: og roy going im not speedy anymore. im arsenal. like ok bro arent u still like 16 or whatever #also they want me to believe all this happened in the past 5 years:#dick (still a child ig cuz hes only 18 or 19 now) became nighwing. jason became robin. jason died. and tim became robin.#i just dont think thats true ur honor.#AND ANOTHER THING im annoyed at all the plot threads from s1 that are either unresolved or were resolved offscreen in the time skip #like conner and clarks relationship. and i dont even WANT more conner centric eps i dislike him on principle for being hashtag not my kon #okay thats all i got for now. moral of the story is i didnt think s1 plot was very good actually and now s2 is better but it doesnt make up #for my annoyance and confusion at Why They Did A Time Skip. why couldnt this plot have just happened immediately following season 1 #whatever. bye #young justice animated #young justice tv #yjtv #donnie speaks #donnie watches dc

Summary:

Microphone feedback whines before settling and a deep voice rings out. “For one night, and one night only…” Jason squints as a spotlight flashes on, lighting three figures on the stage ahead in silhouette. They’re definitely not in the Batcave anymore. Actually, he’s not sure where they are. Outside on a patio? “It’s Dickie and the Titans!” “What the fuck is going on now,” Jason gets out. Dick’s in the center of the stage, no longer looking like a greaser straight from the fifties, but now in that eyesore of his old disco suit and long hair from Jason’s Robin days. Wally flanks his left in a monstrosity of his own, bright red with little yellow lightning bolts adorning the whole thing. On Dick’s other side is Garth, in the same deep-v and flared style in his own colors. The source material is apparent, but the assignment of characters leaves a bit to be desired.

Kon would just like to state—on the record, you can quote him, et cetera et cetera—that this is not his fault.

Seriously, it’s not. In fact, Kon did everything in his power to prevent this, which really is a lot, considering his power includes such wonders as flight and superstrength and tactile telekinesis.

Or at least, he did everything he could to prevent it at first. He didn’t want to turn on Tim. He didn’t want to be pulled to the dark side, except for how that was actually exactly what he wanted. He was always—inevitably, eventually—going to let himself fall into the abyss.

The dark side, of course, being some dingy alleyway off a random Gotham street, and the abyss being the mouth of Jason Todd, hot and insistent against Kon’s.

The kiss was, Kon just needs to emphasize one more time, not his fault.

Getting caught, though? Fine, he can admit it. That was at least 25% on him.
