This is an art blog. Or, at least, it is meant to be. But not like... a good art blog, where someone might share drawings and projects they're proud of, maintaining a positive vibe of enjoyment and self-improvement.
This is a blog for bad art. Beginner drawings. Unfinished pieces. "Nailed it" projects. All the stuff that I spend time and effort on only for it to turn out looking like shit. This is an amnesty zone for all the stuff I am bad at and feel bad about.
You see, I'm not an artist. On my main blog I may occasionally share a fluke of a drawing that I made and actually like, but my actual baseline skill is pretty low.
I'm highly externally driven, and it's hard to practice something when all you make looks "too bad to share", but the only thing that motivates you to practice is the thought of sharing the result with others.
Hence... this blog.
Instead of just crawling into a doomhole (see definition) whenever I try to make art and it doesn't come out well... I'm making this blog my dumping ground for all of that bad art, and the self-deprecating vibes that come with it. No idea how often I'll update here, but I'm expecting it will see some use.
No fake positivity, no false hope, just spite and terrible drawings. Please, be welcome.
