I imagine in this AU they met in high school and have been a constant in each others life throughout college, and now live with each other navigating the highs and lows of young adult hood!

fun fact, in highschool they made a club called DMC ( Dead Moms Club) which some found funny ( Sokka) and others morbid ( Aang) :))
