Hello! My name is Dream, and I love to read! I’ve always wanted to make content for reading and books, but I don’t want to make booktok or booktube videos, so I figured I may try here.
☕️What I Will Be Posting☕️
In my bio, I will have my reading goal progress for the year and the book I’m currently reading. I will also post reviews, fanart, memes, theories, and just general bookish content!
☕️What I Read☕️
I love fantansy, sci fi, and manga but also dabble in historical fiction and am trying my hand at romance!

I’m reading Adam Cesare’s Clown In A Cornfield and I’m upset for not reading it sooner. I never knew this fun YA slasher novel is also a full-throated allegory for the damage done to younger generations by Trump and the MAGA cult.
I just made this entire thing without checking a single source or cracking open a book single🙏 the continuity and basic understanding of what is going on WILL be canon accurate to Neil
Y’all ever think Jean has the inevitable Tupperware Fit of Rage ™️?? Where he opens the cabinet and a bunch of shit falls out?? And none of the containers have matching lids?? And he just gets filled with anger that only unorganized tupperware can give you?? And Jeremy comes home to finding him all irritated, Jab is using a lid as a toy, and Jean has Amazon opened and a package arriving tomorrow and he’s angrily tossing shit in the trash…and for some reason it makes Jeremy need to kiss Jean like SO bad
I just have this image of the Foxes taking some gen eds and accidentally learning about Kevin more than they originally let themselves know about him and feeling awful.
And it all comes from 2 classes I have taken/TAed for and should be offered at Palmetto State (if being annoying about Clemson comparisons).
- Sociology of Deviance
- Atrocity Crimes
Because like, we know the Foxes feel disdain for Kevin a lot of the time.
We know they feel a certain way about his trauma and dislike it and all thay jazz, but we mainly see it through them feeling bad about Neil’s trauma with the Ravens and the Nest. Not particularly specifically feeling bad about Kevin. And we know they sympathize and feel bad, but a lot of it can feel like them waiting for Kevin to “get over himself.”
And as readers we (currently) do not have that chunk of time where Kevin first got to Palmetto and everyones first reactions/thoughts/opinions so I may be wrong. But! From what we can see in the books currently…
Most of them refuse to look past the raging bitch with an attitude and drinking problem. Kevin is a diva and has a smart mouth and he sucks and he lashes out and fuck you.
It’s very different from how they treat Neil on the regular, especially after his time in the Nest. Which can stem from the fact Neil is generally a nice person. And doesn’t let his trauma come to the surface and affect how he treats other people (in an obvious or ugly way). Or get in the way of his day to day function and treatment of people. It very clearly does, and we know that, but the Foxes don’t see it as much when Neil shoves everything down instead of letting it boil over like Kevin does.
And so like. Idk. One or multiple of them take Sociology of Deviance and/or Atrocity Crimes for an easy grade. Social science classes are treated like that. And they get very uncomfortable very quickly when they figure out what they’re learning.
They get to the units on cults.
And brainwashing.
And isolation.
And totalistic environments.
And torture.
And human trafficking.
Truth and reconciliation theory/lack thereof.
Literal human rights violations that are defined by the UN and the ICC and the ICJ.
And how trauma, even though they should know this because they are all traumatized and live with it themselves, can be extremely hideous and ugly and make a person be like how Kevin is.
And they have to sit in these lectures for 50 mins 3 times a week for an entire semester straight. And it’s just finally, through this academic lens they can’t ignore because it’s for a class, they have a red siren going off.
They are forced to confront why Kevin acts like a feral animal caught in a trap trying to gnaw his own hand off, except the key to the trap is in said hand.
It doesn’t change how they treat him, that will never change, but they have been forced to understand him better because they were not doing it before. And now they’ve accidentally seen him under a microscope, and it makes their stomachs hurt.
ok was about to go to sleep but started thinking about andreil and wanted to share my thought that i keep forgetting to bring up despite it haunting me for months:
when people write neil and andrew as asking “yes or no” for every little thing, it feels a little exaggerated to me. the phrase is important to them, yes, but theyre also smart enough to recognize when its not needed for the most part
an example of this is andrews hair. ive seen people include neil asking to touch andrews hair even though, canonically, once neil gets permission for it once, he continues to see it as a safe spot without needing to confirm. we see this when they kiss on the bus (“He buried his hands in Andrew’s hair and tugged him in for a kiss” is the exact phrasing, no pausing for permission) and during the blowjob scene (“Neil caught Andrew’s hair, but his injuries and the plastic bags made it difficult for him to get a good grip”)
another example is andrews neck. both times we see neil kiss andrews neck, he doesnt ask. he just does it and is rewarded with andrews reaction being positive
and andrew doesnt stop him. itd be one thing if neil did this and was told to stop because he didnt ask, but andrew allows it. if it stops being a safe zone, they both know andrew will say so. but until then, its safe to touch without permission
further, while andrew is the one who benefits from using “yes or no” because of his boundaries and history, i think if neil were asking for every tiny touch, hed get annoyed at how overkill and anxiety-based it is. its one thing to have your boundaries respected, its another to have someone walk on eggshells around you. neil respects andrew too much to treat him like he’ll break at one wrong touch and andrew would hate him if he did. andrews not fragile, hes a man who knows his boundaries and will make sure theyre respected. theres a difference
imo “yes or no” is for when theyre unsure or when theyre trying something new. as time goes on, it becomes less frequent and is saved for important and intense moments. you dont need to write them using it all the time, especially in post canon when theyre older
You CANNOT tell me Jean and Kevin aren’t missing entire chunks of memory that are like months long because they dissociated through them. Like one day they wake up as adults and both come to the realization they barely remember anything from the ages 14 - 18
Because it is my personality that I’m a Clemson student and walk around everyday knowing exactly where the Foxes are supposed to be on campus, I have made a guide!
Below the cut is pictures and explanations of where all their classes are and other locations
I am also obnoxious and labeled a Clemson parking route map of where these places are
GENERAL LOCATIONS
Reddin Medical Center
Redfern Medical Center
Foxhole Court
Littlejohn Coliseum
This is the basketball court & facility but based on location and description, Nora has made it sound like this is where Foxhole Court is
Fox Tower
So funny story, what is meant to be Fox Tower doesn’t exist anymore
On the left is Clemson House, which is an old dorm that was on campus when Nora attended Clemson. Not too long after she left it was torn down and replaced with Douthit Hills, on the right
Douthit Hills is 4 buildings, while Clemson house was just 1
Douthit has East and West, where East is freshman dorms that are normal 1 room setups and West is upperclassmen with more apartment style setup (I’ve lived in West!)
Honestly, I imagine the Foxes in this dorm set up instead of what she described because this is what it would be now, and I know what it looks like
They would be living in the West apartment style setup which includes a living room, kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms, and 4 separate bedrooms (I know they share in canon idc)
Dining Hall
Douthit Hills Hub
It’s on the 3rd floor, the first floor is the campus bookstore and the 2nd floor is on the gym
Every student can eat here not just athletes, that’s just a canon thing
Library
It’s that big giant building behind the ampitheatre and reflection pond
Stairs lead up to a library bridge that connect 2 parts of campus because it’s on a weird hill
The bridge was closed for a year for construction in like 2023 and that was annoying as shit I’m gonna be so fr
CLASS LOCATIONS
So for a lot of their majors, I don't know where it says it on canon or the extra content, but I just went with what the fandom wiki said and it felt...accurate enough??
Aaron
For majoring in biochem, Aaron would be in the Life Sciences Facility
Andrew
For majoring in criminal justice, Andrew would be in Brackett Hall
This building is my safe space I've spent like everyday of the academic year in this building since 2020
Fun fact! Andrew and I are in the same fucking deparment (Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice)
Allison
Clemson does not have a Fashion Design major
But, architecture and visual arts are in Lee Hall so I just went with it
The performing arts majors are in the Brooks Center, and I almost chose that, but this felt like it fit more with visual arts
Nicky, Allison, Matt
Douthit Hills/Douth Hills Hub/Fox Tower/Athletic Dining Hall is DIRECTLY behind this like it's one long walkway
This is the Wilber O. and Ann Powers College of Business
Students call it the WAP building which I just know Nicky is obnoxious about it
This is where Nicky, Allison, and Matt would spend most of their time for Nicky to major and Allison to minor in Marketing and Matt to major in Business Administration
Dan
Dan majoring in Athletic Training would put her in Old Main (Tillman Hall)
Clemson puts their athletic leadership and education department with the college of education, which is in Old Main
So it's Dan who is all about sports with everyone else trying to become teachers
Kevin, Renee
Kevin majoring in History and Renee majoring in Religious Studies would put them in Hardin Hall
The picture of this is funky because the building is lowkey placed weirdly on a hill and it is DIRECTLY next to Brackett. Like. Sharing the same strip of sidewalk type beat
Neil
I'm ngl this is where campus gets really fucking up and stupid
Martin Hall is the photo on the left, Daniel Hall is the photo on the right
Majoring in Math would put Neil in Martin Hall, majoring in Spanish freshman year/continuing to take Spanish would put him in Daniel Hall
Martin Hall is like 5 connected buildings labeled A-E and it's obnoxious
Daniel Hall had an expansion on it in 2024, so in the picture Daniel Hall is the vertical rectangle on the left, and then the connecting bridge in the middle connects it to the Humanities Hall on the right
Mind y'all, Martin and Daniel are literally next to each other
Also, to get that photo angle of Martin, I would be standing at Brackett’s backdoor, with Hardin to the right
I spent a shit ton of time in Daniel because I minored in Japanese studies as well
Nora did an accidental good job of keeping Andrew, Neil, and Kevin near each other even in class
OTHER
Bowman Field
This is the field Neil talks about a lot that students like to relax on
It's really big
The building on the left is Old Main, where Dan takes classes
The building on the right is Sikes Hall
If I was standing on Bowman with my back to Old Man, Sikes would be to my front right
And WAP and Douthit Hills would be across the street directly in front of me
Downtown
I included downtown because the Foxes go there sometimes and I cannot stress enough how much of a small town downtown this is
Clemson is in the middle of goddamn nowhere
It is a couple restaurants, bars, and off campus housing and that's it
Calling it a "downtown" is generous but we do
It is directly across the street from Bowman Field and to the left of Douthit Hills
On the top right, I included a picture of the bar TDs because just to the right of the building is where downtown starts
I also for shits and gigs included a picture of the bar Backstreets because she's my safe space
Literallyyy had lunch at the bar on the bottom left picture with the tiger eyes mural today with a professor on my thesis committee
MAP
I cannot stress enough how long I took figuring why the hell the quality of this map is turning into such ass when I put it on here…and never figured out why
But I tried my best with zooming in and cropping :/
I also included the other 2 dining halls not for athletes because Nora does mention they exist
I if you wanna know that bad you can google Clemson parking transportation map and I have the names of everythng on here idk gang
ANYWAY! Sorry that got so long! If ANYONE stuck to the end I highly appreciate it! I just wanted to info dump basically😭
