This account is a master account of my AU I made of my version of the DCU. This is an alternative universe, so not everything played out the same as comics, TV shows, or movies. However, this AU does take major inspirations from 1980s The New Teen Titans comic series, 2003 Teen Titans TV shows, and 2019 Teen Titans graphic novel series.
The main focus of this universe is usually around members that are or have been previously Teen Titans. Characters include Garfield Logan, Raven, Victor Stone, Richard Grayson, Koriand'r, Donna Troy, Wally West, Garth, Roy Harper, Timothy Drake, Kon-El, Bartholomew Allen, and Cassandra Sandsmark. This is not a list of all of them, but I think you get the point. I am open to talking about anyone from my universe though (ie Bruce Wayne, Diana of Themyscira, Kal-El, etc).
As you may have noticed, I’m using birth names as well when discussing characters and honestly it’s just so you know which specific hero I’m talking about since there have been many Robins, Kid Flashs, Wonder Girls, Speedys, etc. My AU focuses on generations of heroes, so of course to me there have been many people who’ve held these mantles/names.
Keep in mind while reading my blog that things may get updated as like the DCU itself, I sometimes cannot keep myself straight. I’ll try to keep myself consistent, but man, I love adding drama and new ideas. If something is outdated or just a silly, I’ll try to make that as obvious as possible by either editing the post with a warning and/or adding a tag for it.
Headcannon for today, Cassie has short hair, because why did they do my girl so dirty? She is so beautiful this way. I hate people that think she’s not beautiful because they didn’t think she was feminine enough.
Costume wise, I also absolutely lean towards her wearing these types below.
I do like the idea of Cassie having longer hair (specifically the pigtails) before she cut her hair short and has kept it that way since. She just seems like the type she needs her hair back or her hair short because the wind would bother her.
Those are all great designs, but I'm not sure why they've being labeled as 2000s Raven? The only one that is is the top right, and that one isn't from an official comic (though it was drawn by a comic book artist). Top and bottom left are from the 2020s and the bottom right is from the 2010s.
Yeah, was a little confused about that too (wasn’t my original post as I saw this on insta), but it had the main images of what I think about, so I used it as a reference what’s going on inside my mind.
Thanks for clarifying that tho because I was searching where these came from because I really liked the styles and it’ll make it easier to find where they actually came from. Because when I looked up “2000s raven” it’s definitely a different version of Raven’s design.
Please someone explain to me how Raven had a child named Wyld? Like dude, just tell me you ship Beast boy x Raven, you didn’t have to make an artificial child that literally sounds like what the two would name their kid.
Sarcasm and irony aside, I really would love to add Wyld, though I know I’m probably gonna have a lot of lore changes and definitely not feel like the New Earth version of him. He’s definitely gonna be so off cannon, but that’s okay cause we ball.
EDIT: I know his actual name is not Wyld, but you gotta admit, their kid would totally have an alias like this.
Raven Daughter of Darkness has to be one of my favorite costume inspirations of her. I just absolutely LOVE that her cape looks like feathers/wings. I don’t think I’m too much of a fan for the red tips, but I also do love a good short hair Raven moment.
One of my headcannons is that Raven has short hair while she’s young and the older she gets, the longer her hair gets because OMG, I need the best of both worlds because she’s peak in both styles!!
Also, in my universe, Raven’s hair is black/raven. I mean… it’s kinda in the name and I always interpreted the purple you see sometimes just to be the highlights. I do like the idea while she’s young though her dying her hair purple some, but not her whole head. Maybe streaks or tips. But I imagine the older she gets the less you would see the purple in her hair and more just her natural color because OMG ITS SO PRETTY!!
In my universe, I’m sorry (IM NOT SORRY AT ALL), but SHE HAS TO BE CANNON!! Just look at her! LOOK AT HER I SAID! Mar’i so just so— AHHHHHHH!! I love her so much. She is honestly one of the reasons I wanted to make my own universe because every universe has such great ideas and I wanna mix them to my own blend to make my own cocktail of fanfiction :D
I think all Dickkory shippers have Mar'i and Jake as canon, right? (in the same universe and as siblings, please) If not, everyone puts it at about 98% lol. I also love her, not only because she's Dickkory's daughter, obviously that attracted me to go and meet her, but because of her own personality and for herself. Her independence, her strong heart, her leadership spirit and even her stubbornness lol. In addition to her kindness and goodness (there are so many adjectives lol)
It's so good to think that after almost 30 years she is still remembered and loved. I also love creating headcanons with her and the Grayson-Anders family, sometimes I get the courage and post my ideas here, but it depends on the day. I would love to read a fanfic of yours, especially with Mar'i, if you decide to write, share it here.
I honestly only discovered Mar’i through a wiki when I got lost maybe around a year ago (specifically Earth-22 version of her), which is crazy to me because of the amount of fanfiction I have read in my life and I think I only saw her mentioned once (though I will admit, I don’t read much Dickory as the main couple).
Anyway, I say this to say, I think she deserves way more visibility than she gets! I just think with how cool she is as a character, she should be implemented a whole lot more.
Also, poor Jacob because I just looked up how many works this kid had on specifically AO3, and he had around only 80 works with him in it.

You know what? Imma post probably my most controversial headcannon!! I think Kory has a tattoo (work in progress though of what I believe she has exactly though). I don’t see a lot about this, but I think Kory would get a tattoo. I’m thinking it would be something small, but definitely not simple. I think she would get something absolutely gorgeous as well.
Oh, and if you even cared about Raven, yes. Yes we have to get babygirl Ray-ray a tattoo too!! I don’t make the rules!
Omg, what if they got matching tattoos but their own styles?? Donna could get in on this (though that may need to take more convincing haha).
Kory's bracelets gives me Amazon vibes and I like to think Donna gave them to her and I now like to think that Amazons give golden bracelets to honorary Amazons which Kory would definitely be being Donna's best female friend and a fierce warrior.
Omg, I absolutely adore this!! Especially since Starfire’s original wrist gauntlets are designed differently from ones she’s seen with later on. They become more similar to Donna’s, but of course have Starfire’s flair, which I feel like makes it even more meaningful because Donna WOULD go through the effort for her friend.
She’s literally the mom friend after all. At least that’s also in my cannon because THIS BROKE ME TO READ OUTTA CONTEXT 🤧
Another headcannon in my AU is Dick’s hair got a lot less square because of Kory. Kory is the absolutely icon of being an exotic beauty, so it’s no surprise she convinced him to get a haircut that was a lot less well kept then he’s used to.
Kory also was extremely sad when Dick changed his suit!! She thought he was absolutely rocking his original Nightwing suit (based on the 1980s comic suit he originally wore). She usually can convince him to wear it again though if she wants to see it.
(Raven on the other hand is relieved to never have to see that thing again.)
But in all seriousness, for my AU explanation (KEEP THIS IS MIND PLS, some people think I’m talking about actual cannon stuff) I would say this happened due to being a teen and wanting to separate from Batman. Do you remember being 14-18 and trying to find your own identity? I think this is Dick’s version of exploring himself and feeling like he’s something more than Batman’s sidekick. Because I remember when I was in the age range, I was trying to find myself and wanted to be my own person. We all kind of naturally try to separate from our parental figure so we can know who we are and not what others tell us.
I remember going through a phase personally of dressing like I was from a different decade also, so I heavily relate to Dick taking inspiration from past fashions to make a suit. I wouldn’t say Dick was really think “Disco” when he made the suit, but I would say he probably got inspiration from it or other things around the era.
(Also, if this was just a haha or hypothetical post, so sorry for bothering you with an unwanted explanation of my own mind!!)
Kory is not shy about what she likes and I LOVE THAT for her. This trait about Kory is definitely translated in my AU. Why shy Starfire when you can have free-loving, unapologetic Starfire who’s an absolute icon? Not every girl in a story has to be insecure about themselves (or at least make that the main focus)!!
