A continuation of a previous poem
Are you nobody then? That's funny, cause' I'm me. Myself is over there though, In the shade under a tree What if we became each other? Me nobody and nobody we As we slipped down into shadow To-be and Not-to-be
Have you slept in the morning? Or in the night where you are free To dream of stranger structures Than anyone could see. Take your time here in the shadows Take your time here by the sea. And day-dream of lost sorrows. Of summertime and tea.
Shall we go to the jungle Where we can see the tree Where our memories were buried Mine of you, yours of me? Or shall we enter the forest Where buzzing like a bee Will see to it that memories Will not survive with thee?
