A week or two ago I found a note I had written in my writing doc: "uh next poem about a fish scale sky or something". I did not recall what on earth I meant by it. A few moments ago I was struck by divine inspiration from the alliteration gods and wrote "and amidst the clashing chaos / there is the octopus and I / looking up at the star-speckled sea of scaly sky".
