I decided to re-draw my first-ever OC for artfight. I came up with them when I was ~8 years old (14 years ago now). This is kind of a corruption of their original design, but the intention still stands.
Interest check is over, please wait patiently for us to annunce the dates and prompts.
In the meantime please see the answers to the questions I have received in the form.
1. I hope AMVs/fanvids are okay for this!
A: yes! Feel free to create and post an AMV. Just make sure to use official materials (manga/anime) or your own art OR have explicit premission and credit somewhere in the works or in the post of that work from the creator of the art you are using.
2. I'm new to such events, are there any necessary information for joining?
A: Week events work as such: we announce prompts and dates for the event. The fans take their time till the event to create a work based on one or some or even none of the prompts if they donāt wish to and then when the datea arrive they post it to the platform where the event is being hosted under a specified tag so the works can then be shared by the creators of the event and viewed and appreciated by other fans.
3. Is it possible to post 2-3 days in a row if I'm not able to draw in time?
A: Go ahead just make sure to post it during the week + the extension and not before. You can easily schedule the post manually so it posts on the specific day you want but posting in a row for prompts ahead is also fine if youāre busy.
4. Is this event limited by Tumblr or I can post this on other platforms too?
A: The event is also hosted on twitter and bluesky! The links are in the sidebar.
5. I am interested, but I'm feeling kind of creatively empty right now. Definitely an observer, but I don't know if I can come up with story/art yet
A: Sharing, commenting and engaging in discussions is also participating. If you cant create a full work you can also share headacanons or songs/ideas you associate with Gilgamesh and Enkidu :)
6. I literally got into this fandom yesterday so idk how much I'll want to/be able to participate. I love these little fuckers though.
