#I was flabbergasted by the new taranee #she’s shy. she likes photography. she’s a goody two shoes and she dresses bright and colorful and feminine. she is kind #why would u massacre my sweetie #and why is she suddenly super into basketball. 🤨 what do u mean by that.#I always really liked that they wrote the fire elemental as someone who is very shy and non confrontational #the typical fire chara is always written as a hothead #it was so interesting to see the fire in her representing her suppressed anger and anxiety #her fire was actually something good that she had to learn to embody #her flame was the passion she felt she couldn’t express and her fire was her becoming outspoken and passionate about her beliefs #but of course. that’s too nuanced. now she’s a hothead and agressive and likes basketball. hmmmm.#I wouldn’t mind one of the girls being more masculine of center. butch magical girl would be cool?#but like. WILL is the obvious tomboy #why would u rewrite the only black member of the group as a tomboy when there already was a tomboy.#and the monochrome clothing pisses me off. why.
