I drew a line for you by Brokenbitchpipe: non-Endgame-ending compliant fix-it fic that takes into account the ramifications of the snap, and featuring a broken-down Steve who makes desperate decisions, a Peggy Carter who’s fierce as hell and helps him navigate his own life and a happy stucky ending – so basically all of my kinks rolled into one amazing story.
Let’s hear it for captain america by @sidnihoudini: Steve, returning the stones. This is so goddamn satisfying on each and every possible count. Features a non-Endgame-ending compliant happy ending, for those wondering. (God, I need to read it again.)
Running from grenades by just_another_classic: remember when I went on about Steve making his decision while in a Bad Place, and when @padmedala gave the world the most amazing peggy/steggy meta ever to exist? It’s like just_another_classic looked into our brains and decided, “you know what? Let me turn this into this absolutely incredible story”. Or in other words (and whether or not you agree with the aforementioned meta) GO READ THIS IMMEDIATELY.
Taking the time by @newsbypostcard (and its sequel!): endgame-ending compliant happy stucky ending fic, because newsbypostcard is not only a damn-talented writer, but also a master at working the whole time-travel logistics. Featuring (among other delightful things) the stucky reunion you and Bucky have been yearning for.
things left behind and the things that are ahead by fluffernutter8: Steve, after going to the past. This is a 100% Endgame-compliant non-stucky fic, so fair warning if that’s not what you’re after, but I guess the fact that *I* liked it anyway tells you everything you need to know about how good it is.
and i want you, only, by indigostohelit: a post-Endgame (canon-compliant) SamBucky vignette that packs a punch. Give it a try even if it’s not what you’re after!
life, the one you get, by toujours_nigel: this take is not one I agree with when it comes to Endgame-meta, but I can’t help loving this story anyway. Steve’s in the past with Natasha along for the ride, and it’s just so lovely (and God, *Nat*)
keep a close watch by flowermasters: Sam/Bucky friendship/developing relationship, set after Endgame, and this makes me want to have the damn show *now*.
In Sight, by Palebluedot: a non-compliant take on the battle scene, featuring an amazing description of what wielding Mjolnir does to Steve, and a freaking pitch-perfect Steve/Bucky reunion.
