Pancake Morning with the Salvatore's

So it's 1951 violet wakes up and asks Damon for pancakes even though they don't need food to survive because it has no nutritional value and they are both vampires. (dialogue/ Pov based) Violet's Pov: Damon! I screamed from down the hall from my bedroom Yes, Vi? he screamed back from the living room. "Can we make pancakes?"I purposed the idea while walking into the living room." "Yeah, sure honey." So in a flash, I ran to the kitchen to get the ingredients out and slipped on my sock almost falling down. Regaining my balance I started to lay the ingredients out on the kitchen island. "Damon come on stop being so slow and get in here."5 minutes later Damon comes in. "Okay ready to start?" "I was ready 3 centuries ago." "Hardy Har so funny," Damon utters in a snarky tone. "I'll get started on the batter." I commenced mixing the dry ingredients and then the wet ingredients into a bowl while Damon was fixing the bacon and eggs on the side. I went over to the stove and poured the batter into a pan cooking enough for the both of us. I walked over to the radio and nat king cole's music filled the room. "You want toast?" "Yeah sure." I grabbed some coffee from the pot and set it on the table "grab the plates." I said with my back turned to the stove. He handed me a plate and I dropped a stack of pancakes onto both plates. Then we sat down, ate talked about life, and then asked my brother if he would attend the founder's ball a yearly tradition. "are we going to the ball this year?" "Yeah I mean that's what we do every year what's bothering you, honey?" "Do you know where Stephan is Damon?" No last time I checked he's still chasing Katherine, why do you want to know." "I just want to know why he doesn't like me?"
