Everyone did a great job and the presentations showed me that everyone was successful and effective on some level, and if we had continued this for a longer amount of time our campaign could really grow into something huge. It showed us that today we have an amazing tool that allows us to reach so many people in so many places: social media. We can really make a difference is we are passionate and work for it.
I personally believe the most effective presentation was Hudson’s. He was very creative and really embodied his community through his three genres helping reach his audience and show them exactly who his community is. I liked the #VeganBeStrong campaign and the three genres he chose actually worked out pretty well for him. I think over time it could get a decent amount of traction. The genres he chose make people want to watch and read to find out more about the community. I really liked the incorporation of graphics in his buzzfeed article tying in an aspect of visuals in all three. Pictures and videos that are easily understood or that are about food are very popular and, since they have an aspect of humor, will be really appreciated by his audience. I think it was so effective because he truly emerged himself in the community and the experience, which really showed through his campaign. Great job Hudson!
