Tears
Tears, such a desiderium you are,
These pitiful creatures,
who don't know your worth,
Which, they take by who you are,
The one who weeps.
Such a display you are!
A show of joy, of sorrow,
A show of one at war,
with themself.
Tears, sign of someone human,
of someone who feels,
considered weak by fellow men,
who long for such release.
Such an extraordinary thing you are!
come from such a burst of emotions,
overwhelmed, you are,
unable to speak,
and can only weep.
There are those who cry in open,
and those who wish they could follow.
But my heart aches for those,
who cry alone,
their heart wrenching sobs, they swallow.
Those who hurt all alone,
yet brave every new dawn,
with a smile,
so that no one knows,
that they are broken,
not even their shadows.
