Hey!! Long time no see! Just stopping by to show u my newest pair of knitted socks- I love them 🤩

Pattern is So Comfy Socks by KeenWhale (free pattern- highly recommend!) and the yarn was I think called Gruffalo Glow from Bobbin Sister Yarns, which I bought last year on holiday in Hay-On-Wye.

Will defo be knitting this pattern again at some point- but next time I think I’ll do the heel flap just a couple of rows shorter- fit is great other than a little bit of extra fabric around the ankle!

Obsessed with this blanket I’ve started with my twilight themed yarn advent from The Woolchemist! It’s so much fun opening a new colour each day and making a new square from it :)

Pattern is the Sweet Shop Blanket by Laura Penrose- it’s such a clever construction, no seaming whatsoever! All shaped with German shortrows.

I’m trying to do a square per day, not sure how realistic that is considering I’m already a day behind schedule lol - oh well it’s all for fun!

Happy WIP Wednesday! I’ve not been knitting much this week but I do have the start of a sleeve so that’s something :)

The mid-project block on this cardigan was a success- the body fits just how I was hoping! Just need to get off sleeve island now hahah

Pattern: Lakes Cardigan by Ozetta

Yarn: Isager Tweed (held double) in Purple, Isager Alpaca 1 in shade 52

I still LOVE this yarn, the marled effect of the two shades of purple is so pretty !!

Finished my Christmas socks last night!

This yarn was so much fun to knit with, I loved watching the different stripes and patterns appear.

These are just some classic vanilla socks using West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply Sparkle in their Yuletide colourway- so festive!

A big improvement from last year when I only managed to finish one sock in time for Christmas 🤣

Its the season of knitted socks !!

3x1 rib, one strand of self-striping yarn and one strand of brown yarn held together

I’m still on a scrappy colors knitting kick and wanted some super colorful socks. Alternating two self-striping colorways made it really easy (if not exactly scrappy)—just a few ends to weave in. I’m very happy with how these turned out!

Pattern: plain vanilla with a garter edged heel flap

Yarn: Paton’s Kroy Socks, Meadow Stripes and Dad’s Jacquard
