it's kind of ironic how my eating disorder helped me love my body. when i developed my ed, i hated my body. and i weighted around the same i do right now. only at my lowest, i realized what my body was capable of and i started honouring it instead of trying to shrink it. even if i haven't fully recovered yet, i love my body for what it can do and not for what it looks like. and i am proud of myself for finding my way back into life with confidence and acceptance.
