Dream Journal #1
Welcome to my dream journal. Just me venting and sharing my dreams. I'll always put TW's for the bad ones.
---------------------------------------------------
Sometimes it's annoying when someone in my dream knows me so thoroughly because they show up pretty often for the last 10 or so years to either correct my temper, try and gently push me in a better direction, check to make sure I'm doing okay, reassure me, try and teach me lessons, desperately try (and succeed) to force me to wake up when I'm in 'restricted areas that are dangerous' (I did not want to wake up because I had SO many questions for him. I was very angry when I woke up). Usually he's stern, not necessarily frowning but not super pleased to find me in areas I shouldn't be in. He keeps his distance except for when he tried to desperately wake me up, the last thing I remember is he grabbed my shoulder.
This man somehow disables my ability to lie to him and while its nice, for the most part, to have someone really know me, it's been back to back with like 5 different dreams every night for the last month and I just want a break.
Most of the time they are terrifying dreams. Angry dreams. Wishful thinking of people apologizing to me and ending on good terms which is bittersweet when I wake up. Gorey dreams that are so vivid sometimes I feel sick when I wake up or I wake up shaking.
I don't want to talk about those right now.
But gods, the good ones are breathtaking and euphoric. He's in those ones lately. The good dreams. He asked me to come take a walk with him. I saw him smile and be relaxed for the first time. When he led me into the glass building he touched me back, which other than grabbing my shoulder to wake me up, is the first time he's touched me. He didn't tell me to wake up, he didn't scold me or teach me a lesson. It was a weird feeling.
But inside the building was amazing.
It was like being in air, water, and space all at once. I could feel the water through my fingers without being wet, the resistance of some liquid when i moved my arm, i felt light like i was in zero gravity. It's both night and day. Giant creatures roam outside of the building made of glass walls and curved glass ceilings. I felt happy and free and safe and I didn't ever want to leave that area.
I saw a probably 300 ft sea creature and freaked out, after all I'm only in a glass building. But he told me to relax and enjoy myself, and I felt safe again.
There were the weirdest bubbles floating in the air (so to speak, it's not exactly air). They didn't pop when I moved them and they glowed despite being see through and cast rainbows on the floor.
We stayed there for a bit before he led me into a new room and told me he had to go and it was time for me to wake up. I tried to argue, tried to control this dream and make myself stay, i had no control of it just as always when he's in my dreams. But he said it's time to go, and he would go first so I can see how he comes into my dreams or as he said "different realities, dimensions and times". That caught my interest so I agreed. He said to grab on to something built into the ground and to stay back. since we were in a house now with a concrete bar, I grabbed the edge of the top.
He made a vortex appear (idk if that's what it was but it's the best description I have other than a black hole shaped like a spiral galaxy). Everything close to it got ripped apart before it swallowed it. The vortex emitted something that felt like electricity and it made my whole body numb and almost slack. He wasn't phased by it though. Before he walked in it he turned around to face me and thanked me for walking with him and he'll see me again soon. And then he walked into it.
And I woke up.
