People had asked if NLL is my interpretation for D3/ shattered cycle, and i would say no, not really.

My writing style is very fundamentally different from Destiny writing. As much as i love how D2 handle NPCs, it doesnt really offer OUR guardian the same kind of personality/ character growth.

Which isnt a bad thing in this sense, because without that blank slate template, ocs like Booker and Raze wouldnt exist.

But speaking from a gameplay perspective, im not really thinking about combat in my story. This is almost all character work. It's dialogue, it's emotions, it's connection.

I dont.. intend to write D3 or shattered cycle. If i happen to get something right, then yay me. But NLL at its core is an analogy. Booker is someone who had suddenly lost his entire world to higher powers and is trying to do something about it, even though he knows he most likely would fail.

I'm not a game writer. Im someone who clashed with my creative writing prof because they didnt like my story of helpless characters vs a passively oppressive world. To me, not every story needs a triumphant ending. Sometimes we can't do anything, but we were there, and that's worth writing about.

For the past month, I've been working NOLIGHTLOST.

NLL is a narrative, high(er) effort comic series; following the story of a Praxic Warlock and a rogue Lightless Hunter after a Second Collapse.

It's a tribute to the world I love.

It really has been 2 years, hasn't it. I still remember the first proto-SWHFTT of Shaxx handing us a Hung Jury after Onslaught.

I don't have the heart to discontinue SWHFTT, but i know i'll need to tell different stories that dont rely on live service. I think l've found a way, where I can also honor the universe and the community.

More details coming soon. New SWHFTT this Sunday. NLL (my incubation comic project) is in the works. I love this world too much to let it go, and i see the comments.

Guardians make their own fate.

My art centers around passion. I cant draw without an emotional attachment to the subject.

There are instances where i draw out of challenge, or spite. But challenges are only occasional, and spite leads to burnout.

Everything ive drawn in these 2 weeks were drawn out of love, even though im making memoirs and eulogies. Love for the game, for the characters, for the universe, for the devs, for the community. Im not good with words, so i pack every bit of that into pixels. I dont like showing emotions, so i let the viewers show it for me.
