CURRENT SELECTION:
On Behalf Of Brittle Ink: As sixth year at Hogwarts begins, Remus Lupin and Regulus Black climb onto the Hogwarts Express together after an unforgettable summer. Remus, with his long held feelings for his best friends brother, decides it's finally time to become a man of action.
Only Sirius Black, couldn't care less about Remus Lupin, the same Ravenclaw numpty who took his brother from him. No, he's too preoccupied with his mysterious pen-pal from fourth year Muggle Studies. This was his year to finally uncover his identity in pursuit of a great epic love.
What happens when Sirius rejects Remus in front of the whole school, only to find out it's the very same mysterious boy behind the letters that's kept him afloat? (WIP; 7/10; updates every friday - sunday)
a jaunt to the middle of windermere: Remus is tantalizing in all the colourful seasons, Siruis thinks, but wintertime has always been his favorite. It tears through him like fire on oil, ripping across him and all these marvelous years between.
Or: a weightless holiday to the countryside, late night card games, fermented pear cider and something half written finally matches up. (COMPLETE; 1/1)
the flowers haven’t even wilted: “You love–” Sirius pauses abruptly, and it takes another moment for Remus to notice the glass grey eyes are staring only at him, puffy lips parting slightly and blinking in a way that tells Remus he’s been recognized. Somewhere in the background, James and Peter play on, and it’s clear to Remus that Sirius misses his beat.
But he’s frozen in time, because Sirius was now looking at him with a strange muchness– momentarily, they weren’t outsiders, foreign to one another, they were just Remus and Sirius, existing in that devoted sort of way he remembered. Glimpses of them flicker to the forefront of his mind; a secret hiding spot on campus, limbs interlacing to a point of no return, with heads tilting back in pleasure. It was only them, and the awful passage of time hadn’t gone and passed them by. (WIP; 3/4)
Electric Blue: Zuko and Katara have been many things to each other over the years: childhood best friends, not-so-secret crushes, adolescent teenagers kindred as one, and eventually, bitter enemies-
So when Katara moves to the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se, five years older and a lifetime away from her youth, the last thing she expects is Zuko living across the hall, eager to dredge up memories of a long-forgotten past.
OR:
A world in which Katara and Zuko grew up together on Ember Island, attending its most prestigious academy, how they fell apart- and how they fall back together. (WIP; 6/25; this story is currently on hiatus)
